Raptor,

I just love the hypocrisy of it. I'm hardly ever on here on a Sunday, and got ridiculed for some unknown reason by Weare for not publicly celebrating last week's win against Fulham on here, then when we lose Weare is nowhere to be seen.

You couldnt make it up.

Chicken blaming avb for the defeat . Priceless.

The guy can't win. Whatever subs he makes then no one is happy

Failure to win was down to the players yesterday. Whoever you sub on and off, a premier league team should not be conceding two goals in a minute.

Bring back Harry with his great substitutions. Parker for vdv away at villa was my favourite.

1 star article. Simply because it's getting boring now

Chicken....................................This might be the one time we agree on something!

I am not Thudd's biggest fan because I think he is way too pedestrian for Spurs & allows the opposition to run at us. Taking Lennon off was not something I would have done, he was our only pacy option yesterday & I think he should have remained.

Having said that, I totally agree with Chronic in that we should not have conceded two goals in a minute.

Sloppy, sloppy defending..........................The first goal was I think Caulker's fault, Lloris was coming for the ball & calling & Caulker's kick was poor, next thing the ball is out on the right crossed in and Pienaar (it was bound to be him) headed in!

Weare hasn't been on since the match, he's probably 'sorting out' a few Everton fans

The reality is that every time we lose, anti avb brigade will blame avb, and use it as justification for wanting him out

Every time we win, the pro avb brigade will praise avb and use it as justification for wanting him in (as he is clearly doing quite well).

Unfortunately for the anti avb brigade, wins have been and will continue to be more frequent that defeats, making each defeat more precious to get the anti avb points across

It's all predictable and boring but then I guess it is no ones job to entertain me

Galv,

Weare is probably more pisssed off about losing out £700 on his XFactor bet

So much for his ITK mate eh? He's never wrong, apparently.

It’s not so much blaming AVB for the defeat, i was just enquiring where Weare is after defeats, as apparently its forbidden to not be on here after every result.

As for actually blaming AVB, do you think it’s any coincidence we keep dropping points late in games.

Regardless of whether you're bored with it or not (although i didnt see you claiming Weare's article was boring (??)), i cannot think of one positive for taking off a pacey right winger for an immobile CM. That changed everything, the flow of our game, the tempo, our attacking options, our ball retention, and this is not something we should be doing in such a close game.

I dont entirely blame AVB for the defeat, but it would be nice to get some consistent posting on here though, and consistent reactions to such articles.

Chicken, I imagine 'Weare's' point was, rightly or wrongly, that you only ever appear immediately following a poor result to bash AVB, but when it's a good result you're conspicuous in your absence.

Something that's possibly backed up by this very article.

Whether true or not.....I've got no idea.

You are looking at it so superficially. For all we knew Lennon could have had a Knock, or just been completely shattered after playing midweek, and had run out of steam.

I have no Issue with the subs yesterday as I don't care if you sub off lloris and bring on Gomes, a premier league side of our calibre should under no circumstances be conceding two goals in a minute.

It is wholly unacceptable and the players are to blame.

An honest question now.... If the same had happened last season would you have blamed redknapps sub? Or would you have blamed the players for being so ridiculously unprofessional. I bet you would have blamed the players. But this season you blame the manager........

If we look at the subs closely then we will agree that they weren't great, but that is certainly not the reason we lost, and probably not the reason we drew either

Taking off Lennon when Bale is not on the pitch is suicidal because the opposition can push far higher up the pitch knowing they won't be exposed on the counter.

When I saw this sub I assumed straight away that Lennon was injured because no manager could be stupid enough to make that error.

===================

I kind of got what Weare was trying to say, but it is completely false. I'm rarely, if at all, on here on a Sunday. This is not to say i have never been, but its by far in the majority, win, lose or draw, that i'm not.

By all means Admins can clarify, unless someone wants to check my posting history?

Weare claimed this before, where he reckons i went missing after beating Liverpool, but i was actually on here (& on alot of articles) between 9am - 7pm (my usual working hours) that day.

Its just a bit hypocritical to mock me for not being on here when we win, then go totally missing when we lose. He was happily Wumming the Arsenal board on Saturday - thats for sure.

Fair point Chicken, I'm only a 'part-timer' on this board these days so it's hard to keep up....

To be fair, it is a continued debate - and as long as it stays as just that "a debate" and not a slanging match, i dont see anything wrong with it.

On a (bright) flipside, Dempsey is getting better & better as the games go on.

But if we've got the ball in the last 3rd, they can attack us.

It was a mistake & its not the first time we've conceded late after replacing someone for Huds. I like Huds, but his record for coming on as a sub late on is not good.

And without Lennon, Bale and Defoe you would have had no pace to take advantage of it. Not that difficult to understand

posted on 10/12/12

It's actually true. A bit like when we beat Southampton 2-1, and we played from the 79th minute onwards with no strikers on the pitch.

If you do concede, it will be difficult to take the lead again.

And by taking Lennon off, we handed the advantage directly to them.

Baines must have thought his Xmas had come 16 days early when Lennon was subbed. Especially as he was on a yellow.
