To be fair, he hasn’t been able to bring in that many players and everyone thought that Adam Johnson was a great signing but he hasn’t done it for them yet.

He is a shockingly inept manager living on past glories as a player with Forest. A team that, unlike Celtic, won the European Cup twice.

A poor man's Lou Macari/Liam Brady/Tommy Burns/Billy McNeill.

I'm trying to think about something so say in Martin's defence, but I can't
I still trust that he'll 'come good' though, and, because of that, don't want him to 'go'

"something so say". Oh dear, Andy, I note that your command of the English language hasn't improved during my absence.

He did a great job on a tight budget with Leicester.
Promotion, 3 league cup finals, winning 2.
A good semi final win at the stadium of light.

Top 10 every season in the prem league.
Losing to Chelsea with a dodgy ref when the FA cup final looked probable.

He will be back at LCFC before season is out.

Hope you guys can escape relegation there are far more teams deserved of that mantle.

Some Man. U. fans being amongst the deserved, too, eh . . . . thankfully, just a small minority ( and one in particular obviously being very small )

over rated manager.. only reason he did so well at villa was because he was given quite a bit of money every summer.. even then the majority of his signings were poor and never managed anything above 6th place.. you might think 6th in 3 consecutive seasons is alright..but its nothing special with the money he had to play with.. even everton got 5th a few times and they bargain buy on a budget... wouldnt let oneill near your transfer funds if you know whats good for you...heskey says it all

I have to say a pretty comfortable victory for Spurs today, O`Neill is not a very good manager, but talks a good game.
