Vermaelen 2. Ramsey 2. Gervinho 0.01. Chamakh 0.5.
He won't last a season at any top club.
Thought Gibbs & Sagna did better than a 5, not alot more they could of done.
Apart from that agree with Couchy
I maintain we will get top 4 this season, and if we sack him I guarentee we won't.
Totally agree. If Wenger was given the boot (the current board would never sack him) this season, I honestly believe the club would be in an even worse state.
What the club and Wenger does business wise (buying and selling players) in January will not only be defining of Arsenal's season, but of Wenger's legacy as a manager!

We looked poor for the majorityof the game because as soon as the ball went to Gervinho or Chamakh they seemed to have no idea what to do. Neither of them really made themselves available for the full backs. And I had forgotten Podolski was on the pitch he was so anonymous. AW picked what on paper was a very strong side most of them let him and the travelling fans down big time
Yeah it doesn't make much sense to sack him now as there aren't too many options available but at the end of the season he has to go, even if we finish 4th.
Having said that i'm scared how much more deadwood we'll accumulate for the new manager if Wenger is allowed to spend in January.

Bradford v Arsenal: commemorative comment.
Do you expect much to happen in Jan ? Henry in, That's it.
========
In that case, we are fooked. You're obviously in the know, so I won't argue.

January is Arsene's last chance saloon.
Obviously I'm not. But would you be surprised if that is the case ?
=======
For once yes, I would! Maybe that's naive of me? But such is the seriousness of the situation that even a stubborn old Puffin like Wenger must realise it's 'make or break'. Something is rotten at the core of this team and it's like some sort of flesh eating disease destroying the club from the inside out.
We'll miss you Cesc - deadwood like Cazorla??
I think if he can keep us top 4 he should stay. If not, the rot will start to set in, 5th-7th will become acceptable, and he must go.
In order to come top 4 in January, we need at least 3 players, one of which must be a top striker, one of which must be a good replacement for Walcott.

How about Gervinho, Santos, Park and players like Podolski and Giroud that just don't fit into our system.
"Something is rotten at the core of this team and it's like some sort of flesh eating disease destroying the club from the inside out."
------------
It's not the team, more the power vacuum at the club that's killing us.
Shorn of any major figures with a football background, there's no one at board level putting pressure on Arsene, and though I believe the manager is still trying his best for the club, that lack of pressure above him is passed on to the players.
How does Giroud not fit in our system?? He gives us a really top plan B to tippy tappying around when they have ten behind the ball - if Giroud had played yesterday we'd have won, it's as simple as that.
It's simple, either Wenger turns it round, or he doesn't.
Regardless if he buys an entire new team in Jan, or keeps what he's got, the proof in the pudding will be where the team is at in May.
If there are no new signings in January and Wenger does indeed have the funds to make those said signings, then I think the top four is out of the question and we'll be looking at finishing anywhere between 12th and 6th.
Gervinho - bad signing, plain and simple. Like Bebe, or Veron, or Mikel. Santos + Park - panic buys after the players we had fecked us and Wenger. Podolski's not a bad player. 100 caps for Germany doesn't happen by magic.
