Why would he, those things went against Utd no one else saw them.
Wouldn't look good for him to come out after that and say they were beaten by the better team in the first half, but a draw would have been a fair result. Most managers say stuff like that all the time, though I must say I think Fergie has changed that a lot in the last few years, actually coming out and saying when we were poor.
He'll become more and more bitter as we leave them further and further behind I'm sure
The bitters I work with are in complete denial - I mention the feelings of the vast majority of Reds after the 1-6 in that we were p1ss poor and they were the better team on the day - the predictable Vicky Pollard reaction ..." Yeah but no but yeah but no "
Let them stew I say !
There have only been a handful that came out and said that we deserved the win, and fair play to those that did. Last season we were completely battered twice, sometimes you just have to hold your hands up...
To be fair, Balotelli totally outplayed our defenders time and time again.
Poor form from Bobby that tbf
Imagine the hysteria if Fegie had said that
Exactly, as much as people try to label Fergie as bitter, recently, he admits when we were outplayed. I'm sure he mentioned something about Fellaini being unplayable after the Everton match.
In contrast you have Wenger admiring the mental strength and all that other stuff he comes out with. It all drives me insane, just be honest...Everyone except blind fan boys know when their team has played badly, there's nothing wrong with admitting it. It just looks like glossing over the problems if you shift the blame and whatnot. Acknowledge what went wrong, and then you try to put it right...Simple! /rant over
the irony is de gea barely had anything to do, there 1st goal involved like 4 shots on goal while our 3/4 shots on target all went in but if the goal had not been disallowed city would probably have ended up with like 3-4 shots on target and scored only 1 goal vs our 4.
Part of me wished we had been allowed the 3rd goal and would have probably completely battered them, as heads had already dropped.....
But part of me is even happier that they (unfairly) clawed it back, only to be left heartbroken in the last minute.
I guess Bobby is right though.... they did play and they did lose. Facts are facts. We played and we won
Words spoken by a man under pressure after a successive champions league humiliations and a defeat at home to his team's bitter rivals...
the irony was man city had 1 shot on target in both league games last season in the derby at half time and he comes out and says that we had 2 shots and scored 2 goals 1st half, cracks you up.

oh the irony...
Only today he's in the papers again with "we have far better players, we are a far better team who play far better football but united know how to win games" well bobby, if your players are so superior then you must look at yourself and ask why they are underachieving in europe and losing at home to a far inferior side, are you the weak link??
The day for United fans to really start worrying is when Mancini leaves City and they get a top manager in, because from the outside looking in, it appears he is holding them back with his tactics, formations, selections and transfers. I liked him as a player and like him as a person but when you pick through his managerial career he comes up short for me.
Our tactics worked a treat on Sunday, we sat backed, soaked it up, then hit them on the break, the stats showed that we had three shots on target but how many genuine chances did City have? 3-4? Barry, Silva, Yaya (the goal) and Zabaleta (equaliser) they didn't exactly boss the game and were only allowed back in due to a wrongly disallowed goal, at 3-0 the game was over.
they had 4 shots for there 1st goal which would not have happened if goal had stood as we would be celebrating then getting our players back to defend.
they had a bad week, knocked out of Europe completly & beaten for the first time in the prem off United at home, "bobbys" feeling the pressure.
I've no doubt City will chase us down for the rest of the season but what I will doubt is Tevez running around like a madman being the anwser to their problems.
Apart from the fact he should have sent off anyway I'am sure one of the main reasons he was charging about like a headless chicken on speed was because it was us & Fergie, he wont do that everyweek.
last season we had to chase for a while then amazingly got an 8 point lead and city were just about manging draws and in the end that was the difference, in our bad spell we lost 2 games.
