Thanks for the honest opinion Inidiasox
India will need Zaheer fit to bounce back. I'm sure their batsmen will be more consistent in the next three tests but England declared twice at Lords and look to be to strong to be bowled out cheaply on two occasions.
Indiasox. Nice to read an unbiased, thorough and non "WUM" post from an Indian fan.
Very fair reflection and we Engluish must be very careful not to overdo the celebrating here. This is the first test and India are the best in the world for a reason.
Good luck for the series (but I hope you lose)
;o)
a good balanced assessment
I was impressed but in no way suprised - whoevers had a chat with Broad deserves massive credit - very well played England, big test on Friday England will be keen not to have a repeat of recent years where on occassion they've lost following a big performance - headingly andd perth spring to mind. I dont expect this to happen but I would expect India to perform better should be a great watch
A very good summary Indiasox, apart from the last couple of lines which are ridiculous. Good luck in the next test thought. We want an excellent cricket series.
Remember though, if Zaheer is not 100 percent fit and does not play, then try and do something a little better then get your wicket keeper to take off his gloves and bowl cr ap at some very good batsmen. That was a shambles, and showed you have no strength in depth whatsoever, cant take 20 wickets and have no chance of saving this series because of your fragile bowlers.
That I am absolutely certain of.
Your team is under prepared, ageing and playing an outstanding cricket team on its home ground.
How the heck do you win 3:1 from a position of 0:3?
