The Arsenal fans are too busy discussing their new signing, Nani...

They can't have him, I'll lock him in a dungeon first

Can't find the damn thing, obviously the advertisement ain't working!

posted on 13/12/12

I know the point of an advert is to make itself heard. There's definately something wrong when you can't find it

posted on 13/12/12

what if it never existed in the first place...

posted on 13/12/12

Yeah, I've given up too. I can't seem to find it at all, which is stupid. All over twitter they've seen it but nobody even has a link to see it. As wonderman said, it's not exactly living up to it's point

This whole night is ruined... Thanks Dark..

posted on 13/12/12

The day I find it, there will be a thread called 'Dear Feed The Scousers...' and it'll have the link in there for you

So the fact that Sir Alex was able to lead a group of mainly english youngsters straight out of our academy to complete dominance of english football in the 1990s ( Becks , Scholes , Giggs , Butt , Gary and Phil Neville , etc ) is quite an enormous miracle by today's standars.
****

well of course he didnt.

The players you mentioned rarely played together in the same team.

It was because he had mentors at the club who were prepared to bring these kid through, like Cantana, Robbo, Bruce, Pallister, Hughsie, Choccy, Incey, Schmeichel, Irwin, etc.

fergie didnt win anything with just kids and hansen is right, yoi coulldnt... he did it with a mixture of youth and the right experience.

A miracle by today's standards?

But yesteryear is not judged by today's standards.

So that's a bloody stupid point.

----

That United team boasted some of the best experienced players in the league.

Hansens comment is pretty much spot on.

It's a bit like saying 'you won't win the lottery twice'

Whilst that's not fact - it's as close as you're going to get

I agree with Metro and RB&W, Hansen was right he just got unlucky with that United team.

Also, people have mentioned Barca on this thread as proof that you can win with kids, but we're not saying that you can't win with academy players ,we're saying you'll do well to win with a team full of players who are 21 or under. Messi, Iniesta, Pique, Alba etc didn't all play in the same team when they were 19-20, it's only now that they're mostly in their mid to late twenties that Barca can field an all la masia eleven

.oh and you should be wary of the backlash on here.. 24 hours in to my life on ja606 and I have already made the mistake of believing the myth regarding the famous 'scouse humour' and fallen foul of their complete intolerance for even genuine and constructive contributions from non-Liverpool fans..

IN FAIRNESS
you came onto my thread about daniel sturridge and started acting like a right doughnut ........and like a 5 year old arsenal fan....

theres not much wumming from united v liverpool here to be honest ........

I haven't seen much of your username

But you're obsessed with Liverpool/scousers and you're attempts to start fires between Liverpool and United posters will be futile - it's more often than not, sensible and enjoyable

don't bring childsplay to the forum unless you're on the Arsenal board

posted on 14/12/12

In fact, some of your lot somehow took offence to my initial post:

Is Daniel Sturridge the answer?
------
Only if the question is: which player could be described as a poor mans Danny Welbeck

..

Hardly offensive, certainly a joke...

Grow up.

posted on 14/12/12

Metro if you read my post history then the majority of it is constructive and the rest is harmless banter...

I'm certainly not out to 'start fires.'

Don't make assumptions of the back of one thread where I unintentionally upset one of your more sensitive fans...

posted on 14/12/12

..and I'm certainly not obsessed with Liverpool... my username is reference to a song.. But I think you knew that
