I think you're right JW 4 - 2 it was...

U7885 must be in very deep water he hasn't made
contact yet...I'm beginning to worry about the
Commander

No Ive not had a run in with U7885...I'm just
concerned as to his whereabouts since the end of
the war in 1945...he's either deep in Atlantis under
the Atlantic or the Marianna Trench in the Pacific..
it's time he came up the weather must be foul?!

That was a good film remember going to see that in
1960 or something..."Bridge over the River Kwai"
Those were the days when you had to ask a grown
up to take you in 'A certificate' if you were under 16?

and poor old Tusc, came over with the 9th Legion , the only survivor after their ill conceived attempt to put down a rising by the Caledonian tribes north of the border

Tusc said it himself earlier, he had to reverse back in the drive .... All Italian vehicles have as many gears in reverse as they do forward, ever since Il Duce was ponsing about in the 40's. best line ever from Dads Army: looks like another invasion attempt is in the offing .... Why have the Italians surrendered already

I can confirm Italians are crap at making cars, and ever worse at wars

NJS....you went to see a film in 1960......so my powers of deduction have you in a certain age bracket.....there's no way that guy driving that car with "1 LUFC" was as old as that... ...you dodgy old dog....
