Bould comes in on his first day and teaches the team how to defend, and the results came, just as we saw at the start of the season.

You mean the countless draws we had at the start?
A draw doesn't mean we didn't defend well
IMO I would be surprised (given performances) that there hasn’t been some sort of conflict between them.
That isn’t necessarily a bad thing though.
The clean sheets at the beginning of the season came against Sunderland, who had no intent to attack, Stoke, who had no intention of attacking, and Liverpool whohad Borini as an attacking threat!!
All 3 still managed to get chances they shouldnt, through poor defending.
Kept saying at the start of the season that people were going OTT about the 'Bould Effect'. Sunderland and Stoke didn't even try and attack us and Liverpool were very wasteful in front of goal.
I don't think Bould has EVER had a big say in our defensive shape, training methods, etc. I find it hard to believe Wenger would give Bould some sort of free reign and then when we start getting positive results, decides that he doesn't want Bould's input anymore.
I'm sorry buy our defending in the first 4 or 5 games of the season was brilliant.
We conceded something like 2 goals in total despite playing at the Britannia and Anfield and the Etihad.
Since then we have defended like school children. It's a disgrace. BOULD IN.
