my treble of man u bolton rotherham came in today for the 3rd time this season.yes lh it was elmo putney.picked up the dvd boxset of brush strokes for about a pound a couple of yrs ago very funny 80s rarely repeated even on gold sitcom.
we have lost 1 game since D.F. took over so WHY ? the boo boys even before half time ,GET A GRIP.we have a great manager lets get behind him. COYWM
Evening benny. When I asked earlier 'was it Elmo Putney?' I was asking Petrov if the Charlton fan he's just seen was Elmo Putney.
I used to love Brush Strokes. Dexy's Midnight Runners and Karl Howman giving the WPC a cheeky kiss. Magic.
seems ngog has found his true role as supersub.scored 4 now coming on today and v cardiff and brighton.not sure about him starting though because he does not have the same impact.what the crowd want to know is when the other half of the dream front partnership sordell is going to get involved?liked the players going over to freedman after the 1st goal and then seeing petrov consequently swap wings with eagles presumably to counter charltons greater threat down their right wing.its that attention to detail that was sadly lacking in the coyle era.
How can you play 'consistently' when your not even getting consistent game time?
Mears was brilliant. One silly header which the crowd hated, but we won everything, stopped everything and made several brilliant blocks to save the poor play made by his fellow defenders.
Ngog was unbelievable, held the ball up well, didn't give it away once, created chances, as well as scoring two very very good individual goals.
Butterfield looks alright. Eagles was poor.
Kevin Davies was atrocious...YET AGAIN! Lost almost every header, even if he won it he sent it to a CAFC player, majority of his passes went astray. Awful awful player, fed up of seeing him.
can I just ask if anyone knows what the point of Andrews is? he seems to play in a non-role, with a fear of passing forwards
Sordell has been told to take a step back and just get his confidence up in the EDS and then get back in the squad when he sorts out his personal issues. Scored a couple in the EDS team, which as a whole are awful. Collection of poor academy players.

Rarely scores when he starts so consistency is not the key for Ngog. Maybe super sub. Don't disagree about SKD but three managers do.

That's tosh. He is being paid a wage. If he was stand out better than the others he would play. How is not making the squad improving his confidence? It has nothing to do with that it is attitude. We can only ever accept a player with a poor attitude if they are good on the pitch. He can't even make the bench.
Read his tweets there is nothing wrong with the guy he is full of it. He has stole a living from Bolton Wanderers football club.
How can you deduce there's nothing wrong with someone by reading their Tweets, out of interest?
If you say he has not got enough confidence to do his job I don't expect him to be on twitter all day. I expect the guy to be a nervous wreck.
Hmm, interesting grasp of mental health issues you have there.
If I was unable to do work due to confidence issues then spent all day laughing and joking on twitter and my head found out what would/should happen?
Especially if this had been the case for 12 months!!?
You're grossly oversimplifying things mate. I've no idea what's going on in Sordell's head, and I don't expect to find out on Twitter.
It still holds that if you have issues at work that prevent you from doing your job. Then have the decency not to publicly laugh and joke with your mates on the Internet for your employers to see. Plan parties etc.
I was under the impression it was homesick and confidence. Neither of them should stop you doing what to most of us is a fun game.
If it is more serious then he would not be playing at all. Instead he turns out for the reserves. He is fit enough for that so...... I do know that for 12 months my money has gone to paying him to sit and not contribute. We paid good money from Watford for him and 3 managers of differing experience and ability have judged him not good enough right from the off. For me that is what stands out!
Yawn.
Everything is Sordells fault isn't it? Perhaps he wants to play? Judging by his tweets when Coyle left and he said he was looking forward to a new start, I would think that he is desperate to play.
I don't think he wants to feel homesick, I don't think he wants to feel depressed. Perhaps, he has been told to enjoy himself outside of 'work' a bit more and try to relax. I see him organising parties and joking with mates as a good thing, certainly better than getting angry at tweets (once to me) and moping around being all sad and angry.
Perhaps it's the opinions of fans, similar to you, Petrov, that actually makes him feel homesick and depressed?
So in a way, your argument could be a direct influence on the reason for him feeling unhappy. So the more you moan, the less he'll play...
LH is right, your grasp on MH issues is interesting and too simplistic.
Example being someone suffering from depression, can put an act and be fine in public...but has real personal problems in private. Think of Gary Speed...he was suffering from MH problems...yet was on football focus being jokey less than 24 hours before committing suicide.
Can I work for you TRR. Will you pay me for 12 months I won't be there much too busy have a good time on your money.

When I pick the team I will let you know.
Petrov, so in summary, if you've got mental health issues, you should ostracise yourself from others, and not be in a highly paid job, that's a summary of what you're saying.
Since when was homesickness a mental health issue
