hi everyone, do you guys mind if I use your board as a sort of 'holiday home'. It is a nice getaway from all the hussle and buslte of the Chelsea board.

Brilliant performance. PL had the counter attacking plan- the players carried it out to perfection. Magnificent defending and astonishing attacking play.

And it's not just the Beast, Andi played a blinder as well- the understanding between them is amazing. To paraphrase Gerald Sindstat from an ancient video:

"Benteke and Weimann went together like eggs and bacon. And they sizzled!"

Oh yeah, and everyone else was fantastic as well.

Onwards and upwards!

Benteke is just auditioning for a chance to move to our club, his dream club. I think we will get him once we sell Chamakh.

Benteke has really impressed me, today he was unplayable. He's put me in my place, I was sure he would flop.

If Villa ever do sell him he will be going for big money.

so in other words....... not to arsenal.

If Benteke was available for £5M, we would offer £2M

Looks a real good player. Shame that once a player starts having a few good games at a club(no offence) such as villa or a mid table side that talk of a move to the big teams already happens.

His second goal was great. Most players panic and shoot but he showed patience and then placed his finish

A really good goal and a good victory as much as it pains me to say

It's still hilarious we sold Downing for 20 million!

Shame you spent £24 million on Darren Bent...

Rumour has it that a mystery club gave us 20 million outnof kindness to fund Downing

So, don't feel too bad about it

Benteke was a fantastic signing + I was confident he would be. And I've criticised Lambert for his selection policy but to be fair he seems to be getting it spot on at just the right time. I do feel that Herd should have been on the bench + N'Zogbia starting with maybe El Ahmadi instead of Westwood or Bannan to add more experience. However, I was proven wrong. I do think that Lambert will need to use the squad more over the season though, this is essential.

If we're going to become a European chasing team under PL we need to keep hold of the likes of Benteke + add to them. If we sell Benteke we'll only need to build again. Hopefully we can more quality in other positions starting in January + will a side that can win things in future years. Villa needs to be a big club again.

Are you an arsenal fan. Sorry but why would he go to you?

Chelsea need a striker. They are the ones i am worried about. Belgium internationals already in the team, willing to spend and all the Drogba refs. Bad mix.

You just have missed when he was whóring himself out to us...

“Arsenal are the club I love. I like their philosophy of selecting young players and, besides, they had Thierry Henry.
“For me he is the best player in the world and was my boyhood idol.
“I’m not afraid of making enemies at Villa by saying I love Arsenal.

Chelsea have Lukaku and probably Walcott soon.

Van Persie said the same.

But he wants to win trophies.

I thought van Persie played for Arsenal. Must have imagined it...

Arsenal will never but their hands in their pockets for such a striker.

If the did they would have won something. As it happens you haven't won anything, can't see that changing this year.

Not good enough to play the Barcelona way and win the champions league and you are unwilling to win ugly so forget that.

The league is long gone and you are out of the cups.

Life long devotee to the Arsenal cause, he said all that. Now he is helping your biggest rival to another title. Oh dear.

We are out of the FA Cup, and we haven't even played a game yet...

A Villa fan trying to give it about trophies
It isn't 1982 is it?

Can't see Arsenal winning anything, never seen Villa win anything

Sorry I thought your biggest rival was Man U.

How the mighty have fallen.

We won the European cup in 1982. That is still a feat you have never achieved.

An arsenal fan laughing at the fact that we've previously won the European cup!

You couldn't make it up.

Laughing at the irony of the statement "how the mighty have fallen" then bragging about last winning something of note in 82.

How the mighty have fallen...
