They're a bit different.
Fellaini head butted and slapped him, Shawcros hugged him. Hardly anything to apologise for, didn't cause him any harm did it?
Santa Daw, when you learn to read properly, you will see I haven't called for Shawcross to apologise to Fellaini.
Goes for you too, Reebok Rowbot.
'But when will Ryan Shawcross come out and admit he was holding onto Fellaini's arm'
It happens every game anyway
And referees aren't strong enough to penalise it, which is why cheats do it.
Of course Shawcross is never going to admit that he was constantly holding onto Fellaini.
This is his game and unfortunately he's very good at it and gets away with it time and time again.

Suppose Jagielka & Distin don't do the same?
All defenders do it,it's up to the refs to put a stop to it
Now they've identified the crime of taking a corner with the ball slightly out
Worst article ever. Felleni had 3 goes at Shawcross who didn't react once.
Holding his arm? Christ.
And this coming from a fan of a club who has Olsson playing for them
Great article. 5 stars from me.
Unfortunately every team uses the holding and blocking tactics at set pieces, some refs give fouls but most just ignore it.
Don't like shawcross as a player but he has to be applauded for not reacting to 3 instances of bad fouls from Fellaini, I would have smacked him after the first headbut
shawcross plays the only way he can,,100% effort, 100% strength 0% skill and finesse. Fella lost his cool....should have been sent off, wasn't, and that will probably mean a longer suspension cos all 3 incidents will be considered. A bitter pill, but he deserves to be banned.
Shawcross was holding - we got penalised at city for similar holding- refs have to be consistent, as with diving. I have long been an advocate of 2 refs like in handball, basketball etc. one ref cannot see everything happening off the ball. if players know there is a ref in front AND behind them, the hidden stuff would stop.
Every team has defenders that hold, they don't all have people that headbutt punch an generally be a dirty tewat like Fellani.
He's got away with elbowing an dirty tackles for fat two long.
Hope he receives a lengthy ban.
Fellaini is a good player but is also a dirty, sly player.
You don't anually be at the top of the bad boy player table for nothing.
Give it up cityblue. You can't get over the fact that even though your club has a bottomless pit of cash we nearly always turn you over.
Yet you haven't won anything even with our gift
My point stands Fellani should have seen red for three assaults.
What would you have said had it been the other way round.
