I do think AVB will become a great manager in the future. As long as Levy shows a bit of faith in him, I reckon you'll go far. And its not as if you guys are dull to watch now, you're just not as vibrant as you were under Harry.

Agree with your thoughts on AVB, Im one of the sitting on the fence brigade as far as judgement on him is concerned, but his stock is definitely growing with me
I also like the fact that unlike Harry he has heard of, and understands the word "rotation" - the bloke is still settling in and the team in transition, but he is begining to show his abilities and tactical nouse, lets hope its not a false dawn
Look at the article below
Completely agree Sandro everyone put in a shift today against a very resilient Swansea side who defended brilliantly today.
He should be given two full seasons and the opportunity to make a few purchases of his own before anyone can fairly judge him. At the moment it isn't pretty at times and if the G00ns were at their game we wouldn't be sat in fourth, but it's still early days and there does seem to be a gradual improvement.
I can't quite fathom some of the subs he's made so far but those with short memories may need reminding that Harry was far from a tactical genius at times. Hopefully the return of Bale, Kaboul, Benny and Parker will allow him to play his best 11, then perhaps we'll get a better idea of the team's and his true potential.
Of the contenders for fourth I believe we have the best squad and first team, and third is more than possible if we can get our act together.
as another one of the ones willing to give him a fair chance, i am happy with him at the moment.
we have to remember that the guy is what, 34 years old? 35 max?
he is so so young.. and he is up against more experienced, older heads, week in, week out.. and he is matching them, and getting the better of them..
swansea, who everyone raves about being a fantastic attacking outfit, didn't have a shot on target today. avb had the team set up perfectly for them, and the players executed it well.
he will make mistakes, lots of them.. as has been shown by some subs so far this season, but today his subs were good.
Like to see more of Townsend too. He looked good today.
It's strange really. Many of us were cursing Levy for not investing or replacing key players (I was the worst) but if you look at our signings we've brought in 3 brilliant players.
Vertonghen to replace King doesn't seem that outrageous now.
A midfield of Dembele/Sandro OR Parker/Modric is much harder to chose than initially thought
and Lloris. I don't care what anyone says but his ability to come off his line like he does is amazing. That's one of many things this guy has brought to the team.
I'm hoping AVB is given the chance because IMO he's clearly an intelligent guy and can go places if he's given time.
For me, Gallas is an unsung hero. Free transfer with a world class pedigree. Ok, he is as old as AVB almost, but the fact he can (& does) come in to do a job is to be applauded.
Good game today. We deserved to win
Nice article mate and good to hear that from someone who goes to games often
I dont see us having a harry style collapse but we may regret the lates goals and points already given away
Confidence is slowing coming into the team and manager and he is starting to be get us playing more offensive which is how we all want Tottenham to play
lets hope its agood christmas period.
