For what it's worth he's behind both Obika and Coulthirst in terms of overall ability atm, and so he should be, being younger than those two.

Well done youngsters

Relax with the youngsters it is all fabrication with the papers saying their contracts expire.

They are all on rolling contracts they interwine.

For example from a youth contract they will move onto a first year development contract then a second year development contract then a third year (if necessary when there almost too old but the coaches need an extra year, like Ekong who spent much of his 2nd year out injured.) then they negotiate a senior contract.

I am fairly confident Parrett, Mason and Bostock are the only contracts expiring. I think Prichard is tied down for another year or so.

@scribe

Personally i would not class Obika as lazy. Adebayor is the pinacle of laziness in my eyes.

I think Obika has changed his game in recent years he used to be a Heskey type player big lump not much else yet now he offers a bit more and scores a few more.

Providing he stays with us, look for Nathan Oduwa a quality forward. Reminds me of a pacy berbatov.

Obika has surprised me this year. Had written him off considering he's 22 but he has put in good performances this year and may yet go onto be a Prem player. We have the knack to write players off too early in this country and we need to learn that not every player has to make it before they turn 20.

@s.mouse

Me too buddy. I firmly believe it should be how the South Americans do it and up to the age of 23 instead of 20/21.
