RED , blue is for sinking ships full of pirates :D
Like it or not, BLUE is Bristol's colour.
We've now got BLUE taxis to go with the BLUE glass.
City's red shirts are nondescript whereas Rovers' BLUE and white is immediately recognisable.
Any map of Bristol shows in BLUE the rivers Avon, Frome, Trym (and Malago).
I mean, you can even find BLUE in BrUnEL!
You can also find lube in blue and we know what you boys do with that!
True to form the blue few are vastly outnumbered
And as for your theory '49 why is it that when you are down in the dumps, it's described as 'feeling blue'
But.........don't want to be 'in the RED'....would rather be in BLUE heaven......doing some 'BLUE sky thinking'
Whats it like to wear that special "gashead" shirt and be...
In the PINK.....WaHeeeeey
What colour was the City charity shirt?.....oh,what,they haven't done one! Shame on them!
Now which of you lot is a BIG fan of the Moody BLUES?
You were on about them being the soundtrack to your youth!
Red!
I don't mind many blue things - just not blue football teams from Bristol....
Well done Pirate49 though, coming on here giving a bit of banter - most of your chums are too busy studying the L2 teams working out where Crawley and co are based to show their faces!
I have always liked P49.
He seems convertible to me!
by the way our away kit sponsorship has been given to the community trust.
Thats a charity of sorts!
banksy...........................
Lots of things happening around Community Depts. etc at the moment...a time of flux. Probably need all the publicity available. Of course, cynical ol' me, does no harm when you're trying to win the hearts and minds of the council and local residents to seem to be community minded. Pity it's on the away shirts!.
Never been described as convertible before....more open-minded than open-topped!
Anyway, can you imagine the thoughts of.....McCARTHY WASTE MANAGEMENT....
We spent all that money sponsoring a 4 tier football teams shirt.
What a waste, they should have trusted the communities, like that nice BRISTOL CITY..
Whenever I see the City home shirt and the sponsor's name I am always reminded of those ambulances and white vans which print their name backwards so you can read it as they overtake you.
