Not really sure about him as a coach but as a manager I remember him being completely useless at Southampton and even worse at Northampton!
Prepared to give him a chance though and might be the man to replace Terry Burton at last as DJ seems to forgotten how to manage the team on his own or with his inexperienced players and coaches (most of which he probably signed!)
So if we start doing well, it just goes to show how rubbish Jones is...... Er...alright then....
Im kinda implying that the new coach is the one who actually gets us playing well. Kinda like we're when Terry Burton was here.
Kind of makes some sense to me what Izzy says.
But Jones is absolute carp regardless of any upturn in our fortunes or not. He's severely hobbled us with poor management and poor excuses.
Jones could try and grow a set and try his best to relate to us fans but sadly he's too far up his own chuff-hole to make a U-turn.
As for Gray - who knows what he'll bring in as positives, he has his work cut out so lets give him a chance.

Would love points today but doubt Jones will select a team to get them (Megson would've made us a force at home this season that's for sure). Charlton are guaranteed a point -sadly. Not looking forward to it.
Charlton are mediocre. I think we'll win today if he picks the correct team and the fans cook up a good atmosphere.
Jones' defeatist attitude isn't going to inspire anyone, so we should take it upon our selves to do it. Power to the people!

We played much much better today and i was pleased with the performance. A result on boxing day and i might start to feel we could be on to something

This new coach must have done something even if it was just translate scouse into English for our players. We played miles better today we kept the ball when their were no options on instead of just boating it forward to their defenders. COG still not sure about him but he played better yesterday Madine was work like performance again with some good touchs & link up play. We had a midfield for a change because we tried to play passing football instead of donkey ball Prutton with his tackling & Macade play making, Antiono mixed things up with crosses & trying to take the defence on & Helan should play on wing more often hes got pace, ball control & he can cross. The defence look more solid with Johnson back even tho their winger did skinned him Llera & Guardner.
Well done to the players you've made r lases life bearable as i'm not being a moody <arse> but other teams would have still punished us as they missed two sitters in front of goal but more wins like that & Dave can stop complain about everyone telling him how to do his job <knobber>!

But I for one refuse to succumb to BrianLaws-itis yet again. I've been afflicted before and I caught the Irvine strain of this terrible affliction too.
