LH, just seen the new tag on your name, love it. 5*
No guile in the middle of the park. No strength, no determination anywhere on the pitch. No money to spend in January means no promotion. Gutless display's by most. So fed up with the whole team I feel sick.

Gash.
I'm really unsure about DF...
We'll see what happens in January.
Beer.
I decided to sit back a while and think about this....
The downturn in our performances has escalated because of desire to keep playing 2 wide men who can't/don't do the running back and support of the front men. I've gone on about this before....
We need Ivan Campo in front of the back to be the general... The man who sits and watches the game, puts his foot on the ball, and decides the pace.. Andrews and Spearing give plenty of effort but aren't intelligent enough to own a midfield. We need a general who's supported by men who can develop up field and support the lone striker...
I hope wingers would work in this league, but they don't... Our back 4 get no support and our front 2 get none either.. Eagles port today, but that's unusual. Petrov was struggling too...
Upfront Ngog did his very best, and OB1 has his moments. But it's not fluid... It was quick movement upfront, but it was random and we didn't look in control.
We need some intelligence on the pitch. AND that's why the manager will continue to play Kevin Davies...
Eagles poor even.. Blah blah blah
Our line ups and tactics lack any consistency, which in turn makes our results lack consistency too.
I'm annoyed that our manager has spent his tenure 'evaluating the team'. Yet, it seems that he still doesn't know his best team, which makes the 'evaluation' a waste of time. DF has not gained anything since he took charge. He doesn't know who his best players are, he doesn't know how to strong wins together and he doesn't know what tactics to play.
Changes will be made in Jan, of that I am sure. I imagine our loanees will go back to their parent clubs. I know that we have declines Bristols offer to extend Tom Eaves' loan. We want him back.
With little or no money, though. I'm not expecting much.
Bloody hell - forest beat Leeds 4-2 and sack their manager!!!!!!
Mallorca, Eagles wasn't poor today he was inept, he was like a small child who had lost his dummy. Andrews is garbage whilst Mears and Ricketts ....well how poor can you be and get a start.
I agree with your midfield conclusion, but the issue is who you bring in. Yes if Vela and Holden are fit then fine, but we need to build in January.
Can't believe Forest have sack O'Driscoll. The club's foreign owner cites that they "haven't won more than two games in a row" as part of his reasoning. We'd kill for two bloody wins in a row.
the df appointment is starting to look a massive mistake.df seems unable to motivate coyles misfits and the tactics were too negative today.andrews and spearing were too deep and the front 2 were isolated-no creativity no chances.this is turning into a relegation battle and i see jimmy phillips back in charge if things do not improve pdq.
My two cents:
The team selected yesterday had no organisation or fluency, and it was easy for Wednesday to defend and relieve pressure.
1) Playing Eagles in a 442 doesnt work, we saw this enough last season. He doesnt have the discipline, and too often he was the most central player, where he favours. This meant that more often than not Mears was exposed and leaving him with no-one to link up with going forward, but luckily, even though everyone says Mears is 'bad 'poor' etc, we are lucky that he doesnt let people get past him.
2) Wednesday doubled up on Petrov, he had no room for the entire game, and was nullified from the off, because of this, he tried to force himself further forward, which again left our wings exposed, and gave Wednesday another area to ease the pressure.
3) Afobe remains the worst player ive seen in a bwfc shirt, really annoyed he is being selected. Would have prefered Sordell or CYL, with Eagles in the hole.
4) I thought Tim Ream was excellant, i think he won everything in the air, he blocked frequently and didnt give the ball away when passing to an advanced player. It looks like he's finally got on the weights.
5) Ngog continues to be a superb player, was unfortunate not to score a fantastic individual goal...but the keeper knew there was only one place that Ngog could put it....Having a striker with intelligence alongside him would have seen him (Afobe) run to the back post, knowing that Ngog could only hit it across goal.
5) We are missing Mark Davies. I have never liked him in an advanced position, i prefer him to sit deep and distribute the play wide etc, yesterday we needed him, too often we were missing that ability to stroke it to someone in space.
I would agree with most off your points there HH. One thing that was clear to me is how lightweight we are in the middle of the park. In the championship this just gets exposed and I would like us to sign a strong midfielder in the next few weeks.
holden might be back by end of jan
5) Ngog continues to be a superb player

No one played well. Upfront 0 goals against poor opposition. Your definition of superb is flawed. Also your over hyping of this guy continues to amaze me. Is he a relative?
