can't help genuine mistake, sorry, but will jnr say he was sorry for mistakes, I think not, and it surely held 1 or 2 back, would have been useful matchday experience if nothing else
paulc, in all seriousness I half agree with you and half understand why he didn't stick them on the bench to "make up the numbers" last season...the problem is that a lot of the Academy games are on Saturday, so to put them on the bench then not use them, means they miss an Academy game and thus could go weeks without football. You have to trust that the manager knows the best way to develop these players, he did bring John Brayford through at Burton after all
its always a high risk strategy scaring kids.
you cant use 7 subs anyway and bringing them in to a losing team is quite possibly counterproductive. bring on the men with guile instead*...
*yeah, i know we didnt have any of them either.
