"When is he due back RDBD?"

Reckon a run-out against Coventry is possible.

What is the status on Kaboul ??

Naughton has improved over the season, become an important player imo

"Naughton has improved over the season, become an important player imo"

Well he has shown, and been shown, that he is worthy of being in the squad.
Once BAE is back, I hope AVB will put him in if Walker starts to get sloppy.

Walker didn't do anything wrong today (for a change)....
could be because Villa were sheite

Regardless of how poor Villa are and they are shocking, 4-0 away from home in the prem still a superb result. AVB's y id army!!!!!

Naughton is a much more tidy player than Walker. Walker has not really gone through a game this season without sloppiness. Naughton will no doubt push for a regular spot at RB once BAE returns

Great result, and I think I got them going when I posted they had no bottle, and then Defoe scored straightaway. Who needs AVB.

Don its true great result

Also, great to see Super Scott again

Sandy, AVB has done an excellent job so far like i keep saying and like we said said he would do from the start, long may it continue

Don :

Lack of CM incision (as shown again in the first half) is still an ongoing issue. Still much improvement to be had across the board, but happy that the squad has developed so we are thereabouts in spite of relatively so-so performances.

did anyone see steffan freund leap off the bench after the 2nd goal ? that was an all time classic

AVB

RDBD, yeh i agree we still have issues to deal with but AVB is dealing with other stuff brilliantly. He looks to have finally sorted out our pathetic defence......3 clean sheets in a row. He also has managed to give Defoe the confidence to be one of the deadliest finishers in europe right now. I know Defoe has always been lethal but he has never been this good under any manager apart from AVB. I think AVB deserves a lot of credit here.

Sneijder is gonna find it hard to break into this team

I'll chuck something out here and see where it goes .

There is no significant reason Parker and Sandro can't start together .

It still concerns me Dembele plays so deep. If you look at where our chances were made you are talking Bale, Lennon and later Sigs.

Parker and Sandro - nothing it getting through that.

discuss.

As I said, unhappy with the general performances but happy that much better (returning personnel, play etc) is possible.

Perhaps this will be a blessing in disguise when thinking of the PL final third slumps of the previous two seasons.

"discuss"

Nothing to discuss.
A Scotty/Sandro CM attacking pace will make Dembele look like Messi on E.

Fair enough.

You must be seeing forward passes and assists I'm not.

I think we have always backed the manager since the start, we saw the potential, and are very fair supporters, you have to give a manager a chance. Others wanted to slate him from the start, not good supporters.

Sneijder is gonna find it hard to break into this team

He can start of by polishing ade`s boots and bringing on the oranges.

parker's touch isnt good enough really.

we had a great move going not long after he came on. knocking it around, passing and moving, then it went to scotty and he toe poked it stright to one of their defenders
