Sad thing is I cannot even muster the enthusiasm to speculate who might replace them.
For once does anyone think the Venky's have an idea who they want and whether he (or she knowing them) will have any experience of managing?
Don't all answer at once!
Ha ha expected. The curse of Kean?
Berg was interviewed and stated on Talksport he wouldnt work for Venkys - a man true to his word
The pantomime season - oh yes it is!
Mark Hughes will be back, the timing of the sacking makes it obvious.
Unless the owners invest in the squad in January (SM and defenders) and get an EXPERIENCED manager in, none of this will matter. The squad is not good enough in vital areas if we want promotion.
For the millionth time I hope the owners do the right thing this time, though I wont hold my breath.
Hi Guys Spurs fan in peace, i have always liked Blackburn and cannot believe what has happened to the club, looking at the results recently i feel it was wrong to let go of Steve Kean now. The guy who replaced him was cack, now if the poster above is right and Mark Hughes may be coming to you, i fear you may end up in a worse position then you already are. Mark has gone backwards in his career and i don't rate him at all, i think you should be looking for someone like Mick Mcarthy, now beofre you all go mad at me, i think you guys need someone woth Championship experience and someone who can get you back up to the prem, although Mcarthy might not be as big a name as Hughes, for me he will do a better job. Thoughts?
this is Karma for sacking Kean.
McCarthy is a bigger name than Hughes but if its a BIG name there after then Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink wins hands down!
MM is a far better manager but Hughes is unemployed and made his name at Rovers.
"this is Karma for sacking Kean."
He resigned...?
Still, can't expect opposition fans not to make stuff up whenever they need
He was forced into the it. if he was allowed to do his thing you would have got promotion.
He resigned because he was being pushed so much by the fans telling him he doesn't know what he's doing despite having you comfortably in the promotion places. The grass isn't always greener.
What i don't get is sacking all the backroom staff Which leaves Colin Hendry as manager for the next game
There has to be someone already lined up
shambles......we are an absolute shambles
I thought this was a joke....
turns out its not!
perhaps the owners should manage the team....
You can join Forest now in a competition as to who has the biggest idiots for owners. I think the chicken farmers outdo the fridge salesmen for stupidity.
8bit as usual being a moron on here.
How many games under Kean did you watch of ours whilst we have been in the Championship out of curiousity?
Just hearing the news that..
Global advisor Saggy Ring has sent Colin Hendry to the barbers to have his barnet shaved and pollished. (Venkys matriarch madam Desai likes a smooth bit of scotch)
"Colin you must go to Pune to seek your destiny and save BRFC from evil dark forces so we can all live happily ever after!!! Go quickly Colin time is running out "
Blackburn deserve this for the hell they put Kean through. It was this time last year he was guiding Blackburn to a win at OT and the fans booed him for it, what did they want? Champions League triumphs?
Erm Will shave árse when Arshavin starts , he got them relegated from the Premiership, deserved all he got, the win at OT meant nothing in the end
Sparticus- if it a competition about stupidity our owners win hands down. If chicken farmers in India buying a football team in another country is not stupid enough we have:
1) sacking Big Sam
2) appointing a Malaysian TV pundit to run the club
3) keeping Kean in a job when he was safely guiding us to the championship
4) appointing a Norwegian TV pundit as manager
5) sacking everyone apart from said Malaysian TV pundit and Hendry
No doubt there are others but to compare Forest owners in the same breath as Venkys is downright insulting to stupid people.

We all know that we wern't going to get into the Champions League (amusingly as a Kean defender yourself, Kean said that many times...) so stop posting bull.
Why do you Arsenal fans care anyway, your board is full with slagging off your own manager, team and board. People in glass houses and all that.
We wanted a manager who knew how to set-up a team to defend, who didnt alienate a lot of our squad, to be respectable in his public life, not lie in court, not lie in press conferences, to admit when our team was poor, I could go on, but I have answered this so many times that is a bit boring.
True football fans understand our situation and why the fans were upset, and dont wish ill upon a club that has been destroyed in 18 months.
