Weallloveleeds...average? He is not an average player mate, just been disillusioned at Posh, natural talent, should have moved to a bigger club when they got promoted a few yrs back. He will more than likely sign for us 99%. Hall and Boyd as our 1st proper signings since TOMA..good times imo.

1 player isnt the answer to our problem:

Playing style = manager

On field execution = players

WING PLAY - wingbacks who can cause attacking problems aswell as defend. Wingers who can ultimately get the ball to the strikers, Hall is a start, but to offset his lack of "pure pace", we need someone on the opposing wing who can run...FAST and has the mental attributes to use his ability to wreak havoc.

Central domination - We need players who can put pressure on teams with ball retention and killer balls. A good midfield knows when a team is reeling and knows how to turn the screw.
We have a tackler in Rudy, but he wnt be 100% for a few weeks, Brown isnt inept but not a starter. A tackler is vital in a team who wants 2 keep the pressure on. Too many times ive seen us lose an early advantage thx 2 the absence of such players.

You need 4 types of striker in a squad :
Targetman (Becchio)
poacher (Somma is closest i guess)
sprinter(nope)
Creative striker (Ross)

Pace is a must, it offers a plan B and gives us an outlet on the counter.

I would like us to get Beckford, he is available and would be hugely welcomed by Leeds fans.

We also need to start playing players in their respective positions...ie Green in central midfield not RM, same for Tonge, LB at LB, Peltier out of team for a while which is a good thing IMO

Although when asked whether it was a case of no enquiry or not selling he replied that it was one of the two. He'd already previously stated there'd been no enquiry. So by process of elimination that means they'd sell. Whether he didn't mean that is another story!
