Most importantly don't allow him to bring in players of his own,

We all know about players like

Diouf, aquellani, kuyt, Lucas, josemi,

Don't.want mediocre players at our club

It does annoy me when the media, fans from other clubs and some pro-Rafa Chelsea fans go on about how well he's doing... turned the team around blah blah blah. Remember for the first 8 or 9 games under Di Matteo we were absolutely flying in the league and look how that panned out. It is far too early to be singing his praises.

However, even a anti-Rafa fan like me can admit that he is doing some good things, and the signs are promising.

But I can only wonder if there isn't as much pressure on him to turn our team in the English Barca, as there was on RDM, and by going back to the basics the team is performing better again (like at the end of last season). It'll be interesting to see if he is manager at the start of next season (PLEASE NO!) how well he does. There will be more pressure for the team to be playing more attractive football.

I'm no Rafa fan, Most people are pis$ed off because RDM was sacked although in the long run I think was a good move, if the fans are angry about it surely they should protest against Roman as he was the one who hired Rafa or are the fans scared of Roman turning his back on the club?

Rafa is doin a good job balancing our team with the attack and defence, something RDM failed at doin, we should at least give him a bit of credit.

Its tough for us, whose going to be our new manager? I'm really not buying intp the Pep hype just yet, could turn out to be like AVB, We need the return of the Special One

Pep or Jose

Otherwise clarkey,

Can't really ever see anyone else suitable for role

Rafas a quality manager and was always going to be better than RDM in the long run, i hope we give him the job full time if we can't get Mourinho, would rather have him than Pep

Yes? I do want Rafa to lose. I care about the club and it's long term well being not Rafa.

Rafa stays and you could say goodbye to all of our young promising players and hello to Dirk Kuyt, Roberto Carlos, Jamie Mackie, Danny Rose and whatever other mediocre/past it players FSW can muster up. We will be set back years and then playing lemonade football for champagne prices.

If I wanted the club in midtable obscurity, scraping odd 1-0 win's here and there I'd welcome Ra.. Benitez with open arms.

Agree apart from wanting us to loose games,

I seriously hope we never contemplate giving him job full time, whatever happens,

But if he was to lose a lot of games thus showing his true colours and getting sacked before our last game but scrape fourth place, then I hope we do loose

Bubbles you enough talk some crap, you could just argue the opposite that we could end up with alonsos or torres' or whatever other quality players like that he can muster up.

And midtabe obscurity? The guy is a proven winner and quality manager, we could end up winning more CL's with him and leagues.

Said it when he first came it was a unworthy sacking but Benitez was a great appointment and apart from Mourinho he is the best manager we can get at the moment so we should feel lucky and priveleged.

His first objective is always to win which is great and what we have been doing lately, he had us winning playing quality football ( 8-0 v villa, 5-1 v leeds ) and had us winning with boring football vs norwich.

He is a great manager and you should stop being such a moron and get behind him and the team instead of being bitter about nothing

Sort of reminds me of a spanish mourinho funnily enough, smart guy, lot of attention to detail, proven winner, can play either type of football and adapt to situations, brings out the best in players.

So when we succumb to the inevitable defeat at Goodison it'll prove Benitez's worthlessness???

The same ground double winner Ancelotti got tactically raped at twice yeah???

Anybody that thinks Benitez is a good manager is as delusional as he is.

Funny how fickle some on here are. A few wins against poor teams and the West Ham, Corinthians defeats are forgotten and the poor performances at home to Fulham and City are swept under the carpet. We haven't beaten a single decent team under his tenure and that won't change,

He reminds me more of a polished AVB myself. Sees football as an equation, sees players as objects, sees himself as gods gift to tactics, sees the press as confused peasants....... i like the lil eccentric person
