Good luck with finding a fun fighting game, ever since about Tekken 3 and the need to learn 1 billion combos i got totally lost. Got a copy of Mortal kombat over xmas and lost interest by the end of the training.........i miss the days of chess match like fights that made games like street fighter só enjoyable. Everyone knew what everyone could do só it was about the tactics and the excecution not about knowing every combo and filling up a power metre

You could try the Sony smash brothers, most fun i have had in a while, though it still Isnt as good as the proper smash bros on the Wii

I do like the Budokai games so I would just stick to the latest/cheapest of that. I don't know of any others, really.

I don't think fighting games are as good as they used to be and I put that down to control lay out.
If you buy street fighter 4 you really need to buy an arcade stick as well, because with a standard controller you need to incorporate shoulder buttons into your moves and combos and its just too cumbersome.
