Valencia has always been a bit of a one trick pony... So maybe full backs have finally figured him out...

Nani is an infinitely more talented footballer but unfortunately Valencia is infinitely more consistent so will always get the nod ahead of him!!

Nani with a good run of games is by far the better player.

2 top quality seasons for a winger is a rare thing these days usually they can't put a good dozen game run together, it might even by the simple case of no pressure of places for him? For the last few years at was either him or nani that side now he has that place completely locked when fit

I have heard he has been nursing an hip injury.
But my question is that if he is injured then why is if even playing?

Perhaps a case of " Carrick is cack ! " or " Wtf is it with Ando ? " - maybe AV is just this months choice.
I know I have long term confidence in him

The last couple of games have been slightly better from him, but still not his best. Perhaps he is simply going through a lean spell and will come good towards the end of the season. The problem is he use to be solid and consistent at a high quality level, now his level has dropped a notch or 2.

He is injured, and has been on painkillers for a while.

That was what I heard as well but the last mention of it was back in November

I agree he hasn't been up to his usual standards, however yesterday he put in at least 5 brilliant crosses without even having to take on his man, if Rooney, RVP or Hernandez were in the box, he would have had a field day for assists
