Well you answered your question in your article so I guess all there's left to do is agree and complain.

Blackburn kits don't even have a sponsor on and they're still charging a ridiculous amount for what is, essentially, a blue and white shirt.

they don't give a feck about the fans thats why.

I buy a shirt every 2-3 years and thats it.

Last one I bought was the black 08/09 shirt. I was a student, living in a world that my student loan was a bottomless pit. Great times!

I used to buy football shirts all the time. Have French national team and club shirts, national shirts of Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Brazil, Portugal, Dutch clubs, Austrian clubs, Celtic, and of course Arsenal.
But the last football shirt I bought was the Arsenal away shirt of Blackcurrent and blue horizontal strips from about 4-5 years back.

I generally only get away kits if I really like them, or home shirts if they're something special like the dark maroon one we had for one season. Not getting ripped off spending 50 quid on a marginally different home shirt every year, I only wear them when playing football anyway.

They're just a rip-off. If I was going to buy one I'd rather by £20-£30 for one of the retro kits.

At least they're never going out of date, as they're already out of date. If that makes sense. Plus the 1985 shirts are probably my all-time favourite football kits.

Why would you buy the United shirt? Its one of the worst kit to be ever designed.
Although the away shirt is good and RVP looks handsome in that.

Well when I was 10 I was given my first shirt from then on up until 18 I always brought a shirt. I didn't buy one last season because of who was in charge of the club, and the season before that not until after Christmas did they start selling the shirts due to some problems- So it was no point. And, I haven't brought one this season... Will buy one next season though I buy them more to keep and still have 10 years down the line as a souvenir... I still have the one that was given to be when I was 10, tis' very small shirt now, very small.

Usually get the shirts at the end of the season for around £15 anyway. May be a year behind everyone else but who cares.

And to be fair they tend to be good quality. I had a Porto shirt I used to wear in matches at school back in 94/95, and it got a lot of use. Still in good condition when I finally binned it about 3 years back.

Got the 85 retro one and that's it, cost £20 or so and it was the first top I ever bought as a kid so I got again a few years back. Never buy them as they are just a rip off, plus most of the season it's wet and cold so I have my coat on.......pointless having a top you can't see.

I have the retro England kit from Mexico 86. England never have decent kits anymore.

Put a few of my old united shirts on ebay last year, got loads of enquiries from thailand/indonesia asking if i'd ship there and what the cost would be, and none of the cheeky gits even bid, they all went to scotland for some reason.

Haven't bought one since I was about fifteen. It was the first Vodafone one I think. A very expensive waste of money IMO.

bloodred I have the vodafone one. Bubble writing. I remember back when I was in primary school a man utd supporter in same year used to where his sharp top.

Am I the only one that buys our rival fans shirts and use it as toilet paper?

You must be pretty flush, AdotVilla.

Just doing my bit.

Doesn't matter what you do with them, Adot, you are still giving your money to your rival team!!

When I said 'buy' it was code for 'rob' the shirts.

Ahh, you mean you beat up a bluenose, take a dump on him and then steal his shirt to wipe your pooper-shooter

You can almost hear the cogs working in the mind of Mackaroni.
