We produced more crosses in the first half then the second, with giroud in the end if them it possibly might have been.
How would starting Giroud make us more of a threat? We played exactly the same before and after he came on.
Easy Dog to answer that. In the first half we sometimes try to cross the ball. There were two or three balls he would be attacked by Giroud. Is it so difficult to admit that?
It was an awful performance but really can't be bothered to get angry about it.
Really just have to hope that something gets done in January. You getting angry's just gonna rise your blood pressure and lead to bad health

You must ask yourself why we were crossing more when he wasn't on the pitch, why weren't we getting in those positions? Probably because we found it harder to do as Giroud is immobile up front.
we have been poor for a few weeks despite winning the last 4games
the newcastle performance was poor as well until the last 30mins which masked where we r as a team.
our midfield is still useless and cazorla has lost the plot
GT, even we crossed more in the first half, our crossing were so terrible and never a threat... maybe not the Ox one... still, in general, our crossing was bad
Giroud is now our scapegoat again. He hardly get the ball because we hardly have them in Soton's half. Did we have a corner? A set piece? The answer is no.
Jack Pullen @TheJackPullen
@piersmorgan he has won the ball for us 5 times, keeps setting wingers on good runs, 1 misplaced pass and you have a go? go kill yourself.
I'm not scapegoating Giroud, trust me. I'm scapegoating no one today. Awful team performance.
Dog are you serious? He isnt mobile ffs. But if you bring him on as as CF then play to his strenths. Simple as that.
Yes but why were we struggling to get into crossing positions? Read what I say. Anyway I'm done here.
Southampton worked well in defense. We were lost children in a supermarket.
Ronniec, but there were two or three balls that smells after Giroud. He would have attack the ball.
GT, Giroud strengths is his header, but who is our best crosser?? Podolski. AW took him out for Giroud... funny

Yeah that is hardly Giroud fault. That was for the whole game.
Its not about what the team is not doing, its about what the team is not capable of doing. This team already is over reaching its self.
These are average players. We not only need a defensive mid, we also need badly better fullbacks.
Cazorla was also shocking!
