The club has experimented with a six-foot tarpaulin curtain around the edge of the ground, but that hasn’t stopped photographers or members of the public who climb ladders or trees in order to watch their heroes train.
Planning permission to extend the height of the curtain has been sought but six foot is the limit without the agreement of Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council.
I imagine United have Trafford Council in their pocket like the BBC and the FA.

I'd prefer it would be Hogwarts, Boris.
Binky,
I was at Bran (Dracula) Castle a couple of days ago - trust me, it's nothing like that.

Arrgh capt'n, we've got a bite.
Bela, is it worth going to see?
Binky,
the "legend" of Dracula came about from a book by a man that had never been to Romania, never mind Transylvania.
Vlad Dracul lived in the castle that he was associated with for a couple of years as a child, there is not a lot of detail about where he lived later. He was, by all accounts, a rather vicious person that punished people by placing a stake in the ground, and impaling people on top of them via their fundament.
The castle itself has a nice setting and great views, and, as castles go, I'd say it looks more inviting than horrifying.

Romania is well worth a visit - cheap beer and accomodation.
Try these guys http://www.untravelledromania.com/untravelled_romania/index.html if you want to go, you'll enjoy it.
I've fancied Transylvania for ages, not just because of the Draclula myths/hype. I May try and give it a go in Summer with some sort of cheap flight and car-hire combo.
Go now. Go to the Ice Hotel in the mountains above the best driving road in Europe (c) Top Gear
If I was going anywhere now it would be hot and exotic.
Vlad the impaler, lovely bloke.
Didn't the church make him a knight for his services in driving the infidel out of that part of the world. A bit like El Cid did in Spain.
Mind Spain have a better footie team than Romania these days but I hear Vlad played a mean CF with the odd head or 2.
