You are probably right but I am going to live in blind hope anyway

I heard we have many signings in they pipeline. A very trustworthy ITK on twitter called Inside Agent has linked us with Schneiderlin, MBiwa Villa etc and he is never wrong.

Would you lot have taken Sturridge?

Sturridge ? No way.

We're gonna need better players than that.

Wenger talks about Spain and Germany. But you just know that he'll go for an African, a Frenchman and a Korean.

Loic Remy welcome to Arsenal

Good feeling we will sign a top quality forward

Philippe Auclair told Arseblog today that, though it is still early in the month, there are currently no reported links to Arsenal signing any players in January.

I dont't buy all this talk about getting a striker. Walcott and Giroud will play there and Gervinho will too I know right.

There will be a winger and a defender. That's probably it, and not the good types...

Should really be looking to sign an experienced GK too...

Don't get your hopes up, you're just letting yourself in for a big let down.
Villa won't come, wages are too high and barca won't sell now and not to us no matter what people say.

I do think a physical midfielder is what we really need. And probably a new defender with JD and Squillaci both off, we can't rely on 3 defenders for the entire season. A new striker would be great, but he would only paper over the real cracks in the squad like RVP used to.

If we sign anyone it probably won't be 'til towards the end of the window. I'm not getting too excited just yet.

Arshavin is rumoured to have knocked a loan to Reading back, btw.

We need to get rid of Djourou, Squilly and Arshavin ASAP if we're going to do anything in January. We have big games coming up, yet Wenger is happy to ait for us to feck those games up because of the squad. He'll use the "tired" excuse again and we'll be left disappointed.

Enough is enough, not inspiration whatsoever

If arsenal get rid of squillaci and djourou also we will have a good amount of funds available and 3 squad places extra.

Wenger will have lost if we don't sign a forward

Enter Herman Crespo. Welcome to Arsenal.

We need a left winger and a DM as top priority. If Walcott goes we also need a striker and an AM/Winger such as Willian.

That stopilla sunzu would have been a good option for defence.

For me these are what we need :
- Defence : Sunzu/Mbiwa (can both also play DM)
- Midfield : M'vila (Still a great passing player and good ball retention skills, don't believe all the criticism)
- Winger/Striker : Ayew/Lopez

Can I just say, and I don't think enough emphasis has been put on this by anyone so far, HOW THE FACK did Chelsea manage to get 12 million for Sturridge? The guy is SO bad, his decision making is a 1000 times worse than Theo in poor form. He is incredibly selfish and there is no variety whatsoever in his play. Thinks he's a centre forward because he had a good loan spell at Bolton.

I know it's Liverpool but seriously gives me a headache how they simply never learn. 12 million for Sturridge? JESUS
