Looks like Utd are trying to buy a Lucas of their own.

So, who's better?

You just have to watch a Brazil game to get your answer. Lucas starts every game. Anderson struggles to get into the squad. Question answered.

In a fight, def Ando. Lucas looks like a girl.

(And plays like one)

OP

I can't see how Lucas is going to make the Liverpool team this year, unless Kenny is going to drop Gerrard.

Or have you just spent nearly 30 million on two squad players.

Remember, Liverpool will not be playing as many games as the rest of the top teams, so they will not have to rest players that often.

One cost 5 million, has improved greatly as a player, and rightly earned a consistent place in the Brazil squad.
The other cost 26.5 million, was a poor player, and still is a poor player.

what about Andy Carrol? Wouldnt that take it to 60 million?

Lucas' value has increased since joining Liverpool but Anderson....his lacklustre performances (which are sparing since being dropped) tell their own story

Well you are learning then. To achieve what United do you need a squad that can genuinely bat up to about No.20. At Liverpool atm, even with your new starting line up acquisition you still only bat up to about no 7.

about 6 players of the 76 players Benitez signed ended up into regulars

besides, Jones is going to be first choice in the future and Anderson still has time on his side

I do not quite understand your analogy, as it's about cricket, but I take you point. I think. I kind of meant what I put.
