I'm not being funny but didn't we lose 4-2 at home to Burton Albion?

But Alex Mccleish though......

Thinking they'd get Roberto DiMatteo and ending up with Alex McCleish.......

spoon: 'Look on the bright side'

I think the Florists may be singing
'always look on the bright side'
quite a bit for the rest of the season.

Talk about fixing something that wasn't broken...

Yeah we did lose 4-2 but it was the league (Tin Pot) cup. Not fussed about that.

Florist had a decent manager and although a little inconsistent, were playing nice football and only just outside the playoffs.

At least they've got their history hahaha!

We're all too familiar with 'fixing' things that aren't broken midway through the season aren't we? Forest fans can wave goodbye to any hopes and aspirations of going up this season

Yeah it's a good job they've got their history to live on because they've got no future 😄

Spoonfox: steady on with the 'Tin Pot' cup, you may attract tonto to come and remind us that's all we've won. At least we can all remember that, unlike the history boys.

There's an option to delete history on computers.
Shame it's not the same for florist!

Ah, who cares?

We won, thats all I'm bothered about

"talk about fixing something that wasn't broken"

They haven't even done that - they've actually broken something that wasn't broken.

This Is Madness:

I see the Curse of Tonto's Big Mouth looming large in the Forest result. It was only Friday night that he was on here sneering at our fixture with the observation: "The 'magic of the cup' indeed - between two clubs that have never won it."

Well, Tonto, I rather doubt that we'll win the FA Cup this year either – but at least we are /in/ it, which is more than some clubs can say.

^ A few senior folk popping out of hibernation I see.

As the cliche goes, the Old 'hams are the best.

Regretably, i tipped Forest to be one of the dark horses to be in the Play-Offs forgetting that McLeish had just taken charge. Big mistake i now feel. Top-half to mid-table is more realistic.
