Did anyone recognise any of the Wigan players names.....

I had a ride down to the match and was a bit dissapointed with the result and the team Wigan put out.
But I dont take anything away from Leigh their experianced forwards bullied the Wigan pack at times.
Wigan had about 5 forwards in the 25 man squad with first team experiance (albeit limited) but the back line was comprised of young kids several of them played in the under 18s last season.
Young Ryan Hampshire who had a good series on the recent Achademy tour to Aus is normally a 6 but had to play at 7 due to the fact that the named 7 dropped out just prior to kickoff.
They brought in a young hooker /backrow at 6,this meant that Hampshire played the whole 80 on his debut. But I can see Hampshire getting more first team game time next season,he seemed to be a good little organiser at 7.
What was strange to me was the fact that the bench was packed with forwards and they where only doing 10 min spells whilst the young backs had far more game time without any guiding experiance around them.
Next week they play away at HKR,they will have to put out a far stronger team in that.
