How can somebody possibly be so stupid
My point was clearly that as it was an ex spurs player arsenal fans will rubbish him no matter how good he actually was(I guess I should have said most arsenal fans), of course their were a few gunners who said he is class
Well you made yourself look awfully stupid then considering most Arsenal fans on here did say he was class and people like myself who said he wasn't said that Sandro, a current Spurs player, is class. You have made a complete and utter tool of yourself
Most arsenal fans? You sure about that?
Well a fan who would rather have rosicky or coqulan in their side must be having a laugh I guess
Modric is a quality player. Would get into every PL team except from maybe City's.
To whoever said Sandro and Dembele are better, come on, they're both good players but aren't on Modric's level.
Why do people always come up with stats and think they are more serious with other. If you know about football you could see class when it is shown.
Modric is class and has to adapt to the spanish league under difficult circumstancies under Mourinho at the moment. Why cant people give players a bit time?
hes good but not as World class as Arsenals midfield
How about the stat that he made more passes in the other teams half than any player in the prem league last season

What a nonsensical article.
Modric is a wonderful little player. Any team would be glad to have him.
Since when is 'half a season' enough to evaluate a player?
Saying that his stats for Spurs were 'shocking' is obvious rubbish, and was written with a pair of red and white glasses firmly in place. That said his goal-scoring record with us was poor and he did have a habit of disappearing in some of the bigger games when the team were struggling. Thanks to the acquisition of Dembele, we haven't really missed him that much since he left, and it was obvious to anyone that the transfer fee was inflated beyond Modric's actual value because we wanted to sell him abroad, not to a Premiership rival, which is what ended up happening. Shame you guys didn't have the cojones to do the same with RVP, don't you think?
Modric would get in to every first XI in England, 100%. He is a wonderful little player, and anyone who doesn't see that clearly doesn't understand the game of very well.
From what I gather at Madrid he has joined a club in disarray, with senior players in dispute with Mourinho.
Addedtk this I believe he has been played at #10 alternated with Ozil - his true place would be alongside one of Alonso or Khedira, not in front of them.

the way madrid play under Mou, doesnt suit his style of play at all..
quick transition from defence to attack all the time, very little midfield interplay...doesnt give a midfielder ball player like modric a good platform to settle in, imo
Crouch End Gooner: 'And he's ugly.' Damn right! And being a fan of the team that boasts such 'eye candy' as Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Mertesacker and Sczezny you're a reliable judge!
