Of course i would have him at Arsenal. His footballing abilityies has never been in question and he is a potential World Class player.

However, he is a cheating, diving, racist caaant, and that kinda puts people off him.

"Potential" world class player....

Really? He's in the top 10 in the world in current form easily.

Sorry Fred, but i think that Liverpool are holding him back a bit. A bit like Arsenal had been holding back Cesc and RVP.

Suarez needs to be in a club of champions and serial trophy winners, in order to get to that "World Class" level.

I'm not sure whether Liverpool are holding him back or helping him by giving him centre stage, will be interesting to see when he moves clubs.

Fantastic footballer. Don't care about anything else.

You only have to read the drivel about what was clearly an inadvertent handball yesterday to know many have an irrational vendetta against him.

Would have him at Arsenal in a heartbeat.

He's a horrible human being, but a quality footballer. I'd take him at Arsenal.

He's a very talented footballer, finding the net more consistantly now too.

But he's a real poison dwarf. He had previous at Ajax (biting an opponent, cheating, etc) which apparently put off some bigger clubs bidding for him, hence why he ended up at Liverpool.

Serial, no way were we holding Cesc back given that the way we played and our formation we pretty much set up entirely for him. As for Suarez, I don't think I'd want a player who bit a fellow professional on my team no matter how good he is, you just can't defend that.

---------------------------

I'm not being biased at all, which is way i'm using the example of Arsenal and Cesc.

In the eyes of gooners, Cesc was already World Class, yet the cloud of being trophyless still shadowed him. Now he's in a better club and with better players, all can see what a World Class player he is.

For me, Suarez is the be-all and end-all of Liverpool. Liverpool need Suarez more than he needs them. Only if he moves to a bigger, better club will Suarez be proved to be World Class. After all, the Torres of Liverpool is judged to be "World Class" by many. And now? Pff!

So Neymar isn't world class, then?

Also Suarez has won trophies at club and international level.

But you would have Thierry Henry back? A legend that cheated to get France into the World Cup.

Suarez might be many things, but what he is, is a class footballer. And i would love him at Arsenal.

All about opinions. Nothing "easy" about it. He wouldn't make MY top 10.

Not sure about this. RVP, Messi, Ronaldo, Aguero, Ozil, Xavi, Iniesta, Gotze, Hummels are just a few players I'd rather have (even ignoring Suarez's character and reputation)

Only this season he's really looked real top class. Before he was not a clinical enough goal scorer to be considered on of the best. End of next season i'll jusge him.

Suarez's character and reputation has squat to do with it.

RVP, Messi and Ronaldo are better, yes, but Suarez has outscored Aguero this season and assisted more, personally I've not seen Goetze or Hummells but Ozil isn't on form this season either.

Key words Fred, "This season". You need to show it in a few more seasons to be considered World Class, and apart from this season, Suarez has not been that Clinical for Liverpool.

The thing is you can excuse the cheating as just having a burning desire to win, you can even try to defend the accusations of racism as it wasn't as though he's was found guilty in a court of law, and it wasn't 't proved beyond reasonable doubt, but when there is actual footage of him biting another player during a match? I'm sorry but that is just despicable, I don't care if it was Messi, I wouldn't want him.

Fred,

Xavi? Iniesta?

Fair enough about Gotze and Hummels. I just think saying it is "easy" that he is in the top 10 is very debateable indeed.

Suarez is the best in the league and top 5 in the world. The only players I would have over him are messi, ronaldo, falcao and iniesta. He's the most complete footballer in the league, kinda like Rooney and Tevez but better. He'd probably even do a job at left back if asked to. Top top player

posted on 7/1/13

He is much better than Aguero current form, Aguero only has pace over him.

posted on 7/1/13

Suarez is nowhere near the top 10 players in the world, it is debatable if he is even one of the top 10 strikers.

posted on 7/1/13

Suarez is currently the best player in the premier league, RVP gets much better service and the David Silva hype is plain irritating.

posted on 7/1/13

RVP
Aguero
Tevez
Rooney
Messi
Cavani
Falcao
Ibrahimovic

8 strikers off the top of my head who are better than Suarez.

Rooney? Cavani? You can't be serious?

He's a horrible human being,
===============================
I take he you know him well then ?
Or maybe your mixing him up with the cartoon character the media have created.
Devoted father and husband, which is more than can be said for many of the degenerates currently playing football in the premier league.
He devotes time and money to running two charitable foundations in Uruguay and Africa for under privileged children, which is more than the person who described him as a horrible human being has probably ever done for anyone.
Hes committed to his club, and honest enough to sign a contract, rather than constantly questioning the clubs future, and allowing his contract to run down for his own selfish reasons, as many modern day footballers do.
Pays huge amounts of tax in this country, which would probably pay a few nurses wages for a year, unlike some players who actively look to avoid paying tax.
Of course he is committed on the pitch, and ruthless at times as regards his will to win, but please, save us the horrible human being nonsense.
