No argument- Mayweather greater than Pacman

The Bradley decision was poor. I'm just disgusted that the two of them have never fought, especially at their peak a few years ago.

Both have been good for the sport and both are great fighters, but it's an embarrassment to the sport that the fight hasn't and might not go ahead.

Ridiculous article. Pacman was schooling JMM, he got complacent and got caught by a great shot. These things happen in Boxing, doesn't matter how great a fighter, you get hit in the right place then you are going down.

Although I believe FM to be the better fighter, it's a joke how neither of them have fought each other. They've only just gone and damaged their reputation.

By your logic Marciano is greater than Loius

Mayweather gets zero credit, Marquez beat Pacquiao, not Floyd.

Floyd passed on the big fights and instead fought the likes of Ortiz and Baldomir.

Pacquiao is a 8 weight world champ when Floyd achieves this comeback and make your case.

And what you doing trolling on here, go back 606v2, the site than banned me for saying Marquez was the most dangerous opponent for Pacquiao and will be better than ever prior to the 3rd fight.

Never write of a great fighter, don't forget that.

Floyd whooped marquez , was that not a big fight?

Fighting the lightweight champ of the world at welter only just after moving up from superfeather.

Breaking the agreed limit on the fight, purposely.

Marquez tried gaining weight by throwing rocks and drinking his own urine, instead of using first class strength and conditioning coach who had helped some of the best athletes in the world with his scientific training and nutrition.

No not a big fight, people wanted Floyd to fight Pacquiao, Floyd didn't though

Twelve years undefeated..........at the top...

Schooled Jmm.....who said Mayweather was much better anyway....

You must stupid If you believe history will have Pacman above Mayweather!!!

Marquez won at least three of the four fights anyway...

So forget the Bradley decision....

Mayweather ranks higher..well done Floydy..

Mayweather undefeated.......

Maybe Pacquiao should have demanded blood test from Marquez, and when Marquez agreed he should have ask for more money, then when Marquez agreed to that, he should have went on vacation. and if Marquez was still hanging around still he should have fought Rios and claimed he needed a warm up fight and said Rios was a tougher opponent, if that still didn't work he got have gotten himself thrown in jail by beating up Jinkee and if all else fails claim he was not interested in boxing anymore and only sign up to fights once Marquez had a fight lined up.

Sven Ottke undefeated,

Ottke > Jones Jr in Truss's book.

8 weight world champ, come on Floyd keep up

Roy Jones Jr. 56-8-0

You keep looking at records to judge how good fighters are, I'll stick to watching boxing.

The reason Mayweather will NEVER go down as an all time great is down to the fact that he cherry picks opponents, and avoids big fights (in which he has a good chance of losing) like the plague.

Not to mention he fights only twice, sometimes even only once a year.

This

Wouldn't shock me if FM really pushes for the fight now Manny seems to be slowing a bit with age.

When was there ever an argument that Pacman is greater than Floyd? Both all time greats no doubt but Floyd's always been above.

Both fighters legacies are tainted by the non fight, but no categoric judgement can be made until both fighters careers are over.

This mindless bickering on this subject pollutes the sport. Both are great fighters, both fighters will suffer because it's pathetic that the fight wasn't made when the world wanted to see it. It can still be made of course, but until it is, there will be a stain on both their legacies imo.

Lets get this straight, the only reason why the fight never happened was because Floyd never wanted it.

Pacquiao has won more titles at more weights, fought a higher calibre of opponents and has brought more excitement and greats fights to the sport.

Ignore this D4 idiot. Guy's always clawing at Floyd's balls whenever I see him.
Pathetic really.

"Ridiculous article. Pacman was schooling JMM, he got complacent and got caught by a great shot. These things happen in Boxing, doesn't matter how great a fighter, you get hit in the right place then you are going down. "

Schooling? Really? He was maybe marginally ahead. Slightly. Even still it was debatable.

One could clearly see Marquez was looking for the KO the whole night.
He got it eventually.

Either way, this has never been a valid argument anyway. As good as Pacman is, he is/was never on Mayweather's level. Plain and simple.

Pacquiao was clearly out boxing Marquez. Pacquiao got careless and paid the price.

They were both looking for the KO.

8 weight world champion.

Let me know when Mayweather wins a title at light-heavyweight.
