Seen plenty of discussion from both sides here, but no anger from us, just exchanges of different viewpoints on the proposed changes.

Angry ? Naw.

Flabbergasted, Aye. Just like the other footy fans at the ridiculous format dreamt up by the SPL that failed so spectacularly elsewhere. Having ignored to surveys by fans for a 16 team league and playing each other twice not four times they resort to errrrr a top leave of 12 and play each other 4 times. Genius. Absolutelte genius

Nver actually looked at the effect the 16-10-16 favoured by by Green the SFL had put forward would impact Rangers but just read an interesting point in a Spiers article.
Under 16-10-16 Rangers would still start next season in the bottom division , so what the hell is Green harmping on about

Ginge this morning nobody was discussing it with the fans and nobody you knew wanted it! This evening after Charles stands alone and calls it a pile of keech hes a madman! So are all you Celtic fans suddenly in favour of this debacle?

Or could you just not be seen to admit that Charles and Charles alone is indeed standing up for the fans and the good of Scottish football?

Chucks advice is for the rangers to leave Scottish football as soon as possible, but where can they go, sensible right enough.

lets be honest here am i happy with the new set up simple na.......agree things need to change but i think this will just drive fans away, you can it now we are flucked off playing each oyher 4 times a year

This is a first for me normally i would be missing the games big time but i am staying on in Jersey for a wee while longer .....to drink all jungles whisky

as for Green think he needs to take a chill pill

This whole league structure debate is pointless.

Not going to make it any more competitive. Not going to make ticket prices cheaper, or make clubs more money. Not going to improve the standard of play etc etc.

Ally, that is about as believable as the stories on your conspiracy threads.

Scotscelt.

Yes, as I have said already, under 16-10-16, Rangers would start in bottom tier.

But at least it would be a fair setup to all, not just the SPL.

And it would be clear to understand. And bottom & top tiers would only play each other twice a season (middle tier playing 4 times to generate cash as parachute / boost for teams dropping down / going up).

So, bring in 16-10-16 next season if you want, or more realistically, allow everyone to KNOW what they are playing for for a WHOLE season, and start 2014/15.

By that time, Rangers may have won SFL2, and be moving up to SFL1. Under 16-10-16, they would still be 2nd tier, so no advantage.

Just fairer. To all.

Some may call it, ehm, sporting integrity.....

If you only read the headline Ginge then its bluster! Have you never said something for effect?

He then continues with :

On first glance, of course, there is nowhere for us to go because Fifa have made their feelings known on cross-border leagues," added Green.

"Hand on heart, there isn't an option but that doesn't mean we shouldn't start looking for an option.

"If all we have to look forward to over the next four years is more madness then we would be failing as directors not to explore the alternatives."

So as a director of a company that believed his revenue scheme was being detrimentally diluted whould you not consider LOOKING into some radical options? Whether they prove to be viable long term at least you are looking at the options!

I can't see anything realistically making Scottish football more competitive while 3/4 of the population support just 2 teams I blame Fergie he could have revolutionised Scottish football forever, but he chose to go to England instead, bit sad really

Using only certain parts of people quotes how do you like this?

Fans have expressed a desire for the top division to be bigger.

"I think there's an educational exercise that we need collectively to go through,

So Regan is saying fans are all daft unts this from a cricket man or somebody in liewells back pocket?
