Would it suprise anybody if we sold Marlon King back to coventry?
Sell the stadium. I could see that happening. Sell Dann, Foster, Ridge, Carr, Jerome, Zigic, Michel, Beau and anyone else that they can shift. Naming rights for the ground?
I've tried to stay positive but today has been the final depressing nail in the coffin. If he doesn't think any of the actions so far have been unpopular then what the hell have we got coming to us? Depressing times. If Blues are doomed I may have to just watch golf instead. I hate golf.

Selling Stans is a very real possibility.
I understand HSBC Bank want their money back off CY and the stadium is the collateral.
Perhaps we could sell the naming rights. St HSBC Stadium. As long as there is a Blues and that piece of land off Cattle Rd to play at then so be it.

Very depressing day to be a blues fan today!
It must be bad, none of my villa mates have phoned or texted to mock me about it!
I'm taking back my season ticket, I was really looking forward to this season and expected players to go. I have even backed the board up until now, Foster out on loan is a joke, I'm never going to put a penny of my money into this club until the board go! How dare they treat us like mugs.
I'd rather us sell Foster for £5,000,000 and have £1,500,000 back to sign players.
I've had a season ticket since 1995 so don't think I'm being fickle but during my years being a Birmingham fan, never have I ever been so angry. I've had stick at work even from Stoke fans, I'm depressed as it is, football isn't worth it. I'm even taking it out on my partner at the moment!
Guys Guys Guys
It wont come down to selling the Stadium.
We will sell players, as many as we can and we may even have to sell our valued assets for cheaper, if we cant offload some of our not so movable assets.
The club are going to need to raise as close as £20M from sales as they can, i think they would need to trim the Wage Bill down by another £5M at least.
Players would have been sold even if Yeung was not arrested, they would have been sold for the right price.
But now Yeung is in bother we would be desperate to sell and thus we could see players who say we would wanted at least £30M go for about £20M
Dont forget some players the club cant force out, if say clubs would only want to pay Zigic £25K a week we could not force him to move away and take 50% pay cut.
Just like we could not get rid of Bent, i feel the same would be said with Zigic.
Now Bent had no use for us really, Zigic is a decent player but his wages are a lot and i cant see clubs agreeing to pay him near the kind of money he is on now.
As far as the comment Bent is as usefull as we got now, i dont agree. King will be more effective for us than Bent ever was.

JK are you saying this could be the best side we can put out come September 1st and the rest of the sqaud will be our youth players or the odd 1-2 players who are not even in Fahey's league

By the time this shower has finished bent would be no worse than what we have, i believe that to be true, we are heading for oblivion with this lot in charge.
Ok we raise £20 mill and trim the wages by £5 mill, then what next year???
Good chance we may drop to league one this season so then where do we trim?
The club at this moment is in disarray and complete chaos.
We are run by chancers and crooks, you can keep believing the stuff you say but ive had enough of this shower

I think that apart from a few muppets there has not been any mocking from other fans because they are only too aware that it could easily happen to themselves....there are plenty of clubs that would be in dire straits if they were relegated....also how many rely on wealthy owners to bankroll them along. If these owners go bankrupt then the clubs would end up just like us. For years now money in football has gone crazy and for the majority of clubs is just unsustainable. The millions now being spent on players is mad and beyond the reach of all but a few clubs. The most succesfull club in the world at the moment is Barcelona and the reason they can spend fortunes is because they are bankrolled by the Government. We have to get real and realise there is no money at Blues.....if you look at Pannus statement he states the problems stem from the trading being suspended which is stopping investment...what that translates to is that there is no money left and we need someone to invest in us to keep the club afloat. Even if Yeung wasnt in jail we would still be skint. We need to sell our top paid players! ASAP just to keep afloat.
This year is unfortunately just about surviving....but it can also be the start of a new beginning. Irrespective of what happens with the owners, (we might get lucky and a brave bored billionaire might buy Yeung out!) there is an opportunity for our one ray of hope (ie CH) to start from scratch and build a team on hungry up and coming youth who would be hungry and proud to play for the shirt. Funnily enough that was exactly how one Oxford fan described their team who beat us last nite, full of youg eager players who were playing for the shirt not the money.
I beleave that after we do that what will happen is those cuts will make us more maintainable.
I dont think Yeung will want to invest, or can he afford to.
If we sold every player at the club apart from those signed this year and if we then was left with a low wage bill and then had to build a side within our clubs means.
I think that could make a midtable Championship Club.
But we have debts and thats always going to be a problem, if Yeung is let off or not can we see him put his hands up and say I AM TO BLAME and then accept he has to cut his losses.
Nope he will want to make as much of that money back.
Its going to be hard, i dont think we would see every player worth anything going.
You cant force players out, example you could say Bent last season was worth £250K but we could not sell him because no one wants him.
Some players will therefore stay and maybe that could inc Zigic.
Only way Zigic would leave is if we practically give him away say for £2M that way a buying club could pay him £2M wages over 3 years so £8M Total Package because they got him cheap. If we want £5M for Zigic then even at £1.5M a season wages a 3 year deal would Total £9.5M and i just dont see many clubs who would lay out that on him.
Our best option is to loan him even if thats at 50% wages and hope he impresses a club who then buy him.
I guess we will find out whats going on soon, i do feel that Xmass is when we will really know if we are going to be heading for Championship mediocrity, Administration or new owners and a light at the end of the Tunnel.
The KiD
If Yeung was sqeaky Clean and not even arrested i dont think things would had been as bad.
Yes Yeung has not much cash, yes he invests via loans, if he had not been arrested we would not have sold players as cheap and Yeung would find ways to get investment even though in long run that would have meant more debts via loans that Yeung/BIH owe.
Having his assets is the main reason for worry as it means no cash flow.
As i said over and over Yeung could have £1BL in his banks, if his assets are frozen then he cant invest a single penny of that.
With BIH shares on ICE that means even if a would be Billionare wants to buy us for £80M and cover the debts they can not purchace or buy into the club.
The KiD
Well said kingblue.
The problem is we have no other option than to support the team and hope things gt better. There's a lot talk about a protest against Everton on Saturday. While i'm 100% sure the best thing for the club would be to get rid of the current owners, if no one wants to buy the club then we're stuck with them. What's a protest going to achieve? Their not going to sack themselves. We could refuse to go to the games/ buy merchandise, but then there's no money going into the club.
Basically we are stuck. We can't get rid of them. But we can't afford to turn our back on them.
I think by Unpopular Decisions they mean...
Foster will be loaned out to save his £1.5M wage and make £500K-£1M ontop with option to make £4M next season on him.
They will lissen to any offer that can make money for Carr and get his £1M+ wages off the books just as they did with Fergusons.
They will lissen to offers for Jerome, Ridgewell, Beausajour and Michel if they make their money back or near enough.
I.e they cost us about £12-12.5M if they can make £10M+ back they would now have to accept that.
They will look to sell Dann for anything over £8M now, and if money goes dry and they cant sell any other players and thus the only offer on the table is for Dann they may even be forced to sell for £4-5M+ addons like with Johnson.
Lets also not rule out offers for Murphy, Doyle or Fahey but they would have to be decent because there would be no point in selling them for peanuts as they are not worth much and dont earn much.

Thats all we can do, i do think that come end of the season we could see Yeung leave the club and haev new owners but that may just be a way to get rid of debts it does not mean we would be on the way back to the Prem.

The KiD
I think by unpopular decisions they mean they will be staying for the foreseeable future.
if anyone still believes Yeung has actually got any money himself you are mad....dont forget it was only a few months ago he was remortgaging properties to put money in to keep things going.....the statement from Pannu confirms this when he says they need trading reinstated so they can hopefully get investment from outside to keep us going.
I think Yeung had hopped before to get investment and backing from people in China, but sadly i think these backers got cold feet and never jumped on board.
I think thats why we could not spend much after last Summer.
I also think people like Pollyanna have already risked as much as they want on us by buying shares, i dont think Pollyanna is willing to invest in the club any more than what its cost her already.
Thats why Yeung then had to turn to lending off his property.
Reports say Yeung has assets of £150M others upto £300M but seems his ready cash was only about £50M
Thats not really enough to back a club like ours with debts in Championship so minus Prem cash and Yeung has bitten off more than he can chew.
But now getting arrested as ended any chance of him doing any good by us.
I think they want to get court out of the way so as that they can then see if they can get some investment into BIH
The question is who wants to be a part of a sinking ship

I've just read we've even stretched to suing Xtep because in picking some dodgy Chinese manufacturer we've ensured our main kit supplier is making (I kid you not) their own knock off football kits and merchandise by modifying (ripping off) our logo.
To throw some more drama into the mix, they're also suing them for supplying the same style jersey for Villareals away kit.
You couldn't make it up. These guys will try anything. I wouldn't be surprised if Pannu starts hanging around Villa Park executive car park in attempt to catch Randy Lerners driver off guard as he's reverse parking to sue someone else for a few extra quid.
Thats where 2 sides of every Story comes from.
Rumours with Xtep was
1) They not happy at our club not being in Prem i.e so they dont get exposure and thus if not promoted they will cancel their deal.
2) They are upset at being linked with a club whos owner is a potential criminal and if Yeung is found guilty Xtep will cancel their deal.
3) Now Xtep are either selling kits with no royalties to us for use of our logo, or they are making kits that resemble our logo (maybe they got 2 balls or 2 worlds and not the one ball and one world we have), and thus Blues have rights to Sue them.
We really dont know whats going on with that.
But i thought Xtep was a repertable company, i cant see them doing knock offs of our kits to make their own money.
What % of Shirts sold in China would be royalties to our club what 25% Tops.
Are Xtep going to do so many look a like tops to save the odd cash here and there.
