Watch SPL when it's on at the gym, to be honest when it's not Celtic or Rangers (previous seasons) I find the quality pretty poor, sub-Championship level.

I personally can't see Celtic playing in the Prem anytime soon, I think you would have to merge the whole scottish football tree with the English one, and start all the Scottish teams in the Blue Square league.

Sensible answer mate, I agree.

It's a shame some English clubs don't see the big picture...

Celtic and $evco would take the viewing figures(Of the Epl)to levels that only a World Cup may surpass.

Revenue would only increase for them

I agree with Zico, a very sensible answer Chris

I'd personally love to see the SPL merge, but not at the cost of quality. I genuinely believe Sunderland or Fulham would absolutely stuff the likes of St Mirren and Ross county.

Like I said above, if you start all the Scottish teams in a low divions, with any Dundee fans travel to the south coast to watch the games?

Maybe it would be better done through "filtering" i.e. top 2 finishing SPL teams join the EPL, next 4 join the Championship etc etc?

I think all football fans would love travelling to the `new' grounds either in Scotland or England.
I agree that filtering would be needed.
But I also think that a few teams in the EPL are no better than what we have in Scotland - it's only the illusion of the EPL player values that keep people thinking that it's so vastly superior to every other league.
