Very pleased, hope there are clauses etc to add a year as 2 seems short..
Good quality midfielders now, good depth..
Where's those 2 lads from our feeder club now??

cant understand the 2yr contract, unless he's filling in while muamba improves, short term fix ?
Apparently Liverpool were interested in him but pulled out of any potential deal when they heard we would come on a free.
When you signing Bloody Cahill!!
Are you sure Wenger is not from Yorkshire?
Tight giitt
I'm well chuffed with this signing. Hopefully it will mean the end of Fabrice. I'm expecting him to favour Mavies & Coker to start in the Prem, with Pratley on the bench. That would put Muamba as 4th choice and when Holden is back 5th choice. I wonder if anybody is stupid enough to make a cheeky bid for him?
Unless OC is planning on shocking us all with a change of formation, but I just can't see it.
I would think Muamba will be ahead of Pratley in the pecking order.
Either way, i'll be happy as long as he's not starting games.
half time bury 0 .bolton 1 klasnic takes charge of set peices, and as just scored

I doubt it. Coyle signed Pratley and not Muamba, suggesting that he prefers Pratley.
Also, Pratley fits into Coyles style of play better - he can pass it, Muamba can't.
I imagine the first choice midfield would be Holden and Pratley actually
No. By that reasoning he will prefer Wheater to Cahill, just isnt a valid point. As for the two centre mid who will be first choice, I imagine its Holden and Davies/Reo-Coker. Pratley is backup at best.
If none of the midfielders leave before September 1st, and when Holden is fit, it will be the most genuine competition I've ever seen at the club for the 4 midfield spots.
Ricardo G has looked pretty poor in midfield in pre season (and at the back end of last season too), unfortunately.
Will be absolutely crazy if Coyle ever has the pick of Holden, Mavies, Muamba, Reo-Coker, Pratley, Davis, Petrov, Eagles and Chung-Yong with Gardner and Alonso also in the midfield scheme of things. 10-11 midfielders in the first team squad!
If we can just find a replacement for Sturridge/Elmander up front.
Reo-Coker is a very good player. He demonstrated this at West Ham. Bolton are very lucky to have gotten this relatively young player for nothing.
