Glad to see Murray through in quick time today. I dont subcribe to the theory he has not had a proper work out yet and would struggle against Fed/Novak without one!
I think we will see a marked improvement in his next match!
Nole has another night match. do him of Fed ever play in the heat of the day
Apparently 73 night matches in a row for Fed

Completely agree.
Thought Murray played OK today. Didnt really get going maybe until the third set. Hope he re-discovers his back hand in time for the Semis?
This must be the freshest Andy has been at this point in a slam. I hope it works in his favour?
Jonty,
What do you think of Sloane Stephens chances against Azarenka. She is priced at 9/2 to win
That is some price?
I have never been that impressed with Stephens, but credit to her for her win v Serena, she earnt it and Azarenka has her frailties.
I really can't call that, just hope I can get to see some if it....its frustrating that the time difference means I just can't see much of the play.
Great to have a few new names popping up here and there, even if it's early round stuff.
Azarenka to win in straight sets.
Unless, she has one of her mental farts.
Stephens is definitely top ten material however. Even though i agree with Jonty in that she doesn't particularly excel at anything, no major weapons. She just has a B game all round but at the moment that is sufficing and she soldiers on.
As she gets older, she will of course significantly improve.
Im tempted to have a punt on that?
I must admit im looking forward to the completion of the AO, its doing me no good at all with these early/late nights.
I must admit the womens side always throws up a few suprises unlike the mens draw?
Maybe i wont put so much on now then, Red
Like Jonty says, Azarenka can be fragile so she could get tight going into a third set.
Im even trying to convince myself now
All depends on how effective Stephens' ear plugs are
I agree to a point, Logie B.
However, surprise shouldn't be substituted for quality.
Just watching Ferd vs Tsonga atm, no match in the women's game has matched the quality of tennis from both men in the first set alone.
I would rather have the fantastic four (Djoko, Fed, Murray and Nadal) in every semis till 2016 as long as they continue to produce stellar tennis than have a surprise like the massively overrated Raonic boring me with his dull tennis.
All that grunting and mental fart-ing, its going to be a

True, but nothing like a bit of variety
Just reading the live match report. All sqaure.
Please be a 5 setter. sorry Red
ha, Logie.
I predicted Fed in 4 sets before the match and i still stand by it.
One thing has to be said though: Federer seems to bring the best out of Tsonga. Tsonga seems to turn it on big time when they meet and it makes for a fascinating match - especially as both are attacking players.
He certainly does. Maybe he's a good match up for Tsonga? He's certainly not overawed by Fed like alot of the other so callled top players?
I cant beleive it!!!
School boy error!!!
Ive just remebered that i have a driver awarness course Friday morning 8-12
Smack bang in the middle of the Semi Final. Im gutted, i really am . Im contemplating the consequences of not going. I cant beleive it.
My only hope is that it snows quite heavily and say that i cant make it.
Gutted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
