I like him but not good enough for a top team yet. If he was smart he'd do what former team-mates Clyne and Moses did and start small, look at ending it big.
why would any gifted attacking player go to Chelsea to get 10 men behind the ball and overpower teams.

I dont know why such a player would, maybe you should ask Mata, Hazard, Oscar, De Bruyne or Marin. Stop living in the past, i know it was nicer for you back then but you need to move on

Maybe that is a good idea for him. He's constantly being associated with teams such as Arsenal and Manu, but I've got a feeling that if he were to go to either of those two, he'd end up warming the bench most of the time (as players who are ahead of him in the pecking order, such as Wellbeck or Oxlade-Chamberlain, are doing). I think we'd actually give him more chances than Manu or Arsenal, but maybe being a starter in a smaller team would be best for his development.

Just woke up from a long period of hibernation, I take it? Haven't had a chance to take in all that's transpired in that period? Take your time, and come back when you're ready.
8bit we've played the best football in the PL this season easy, we even played you off the park at the emirates at your own pass pass pass game. You could only dream of playing the stuff we've been playing this season
8bit probably isn't going to return to this thread I imagine.
oh dear standards must be low if that's great football. Essien and Lampard aka Zidane and Iniesta
Poodolski Giroubble Craporla
8bit's still living in the dark ages - he still thinks Essiens actually playing games for us!
BrummieBlue doesn't even know who plays for his team, a 2003 fan no doubt
a 2003 fan no doubt - years before your dad slipped your mom one actually!
So when did Essien last play in a Chelsea team know all!!
Lets bid for Sturridge, he just scored for Pool
you should know that as a long time Chelsea fan surely
He hasn't played for Chelsea all season as he's been on loan at RM.and only back now because of injury!
If your going WUM, at least have an idea what you're talking about so you don't look the total ar$se you've made yourself out to be!
Back to the OP........
No I wouldn't take the risk. Althought I'd love too. There's too much at stake these days.
