QPR 1-0 Fulham

An even game where it took a penalty to decide the game. Kevin De Bruyne's inexperienced showed when he brought down Lewandowski in the box. Lewandowski took it an scored.

I thought Fulhams team were stronger however home advantage and good tactics won it for qpr

Stoke 1-2 Sunderland

Stoke were handed a undeserved loss after a well fought out tie. However it was sunderlands subs who won them the game. After stoke took the lead by a 30 yard screamer from Munian. Sunderland put on their subs, beckham managed to get into the right position to slot away the equaliser. The wingers run into the box and laid it off for him. Then it was powell who got the winner through a header from a corner.

Stoke perhaps played the better side but i felt sunderlands tactics were stronger and counter attacked stokes quite well.

Swansea 2 - 0 Villa

Personally I thought the side that Villa put out was stronger than the cup side fielded by Swansea, but tactics, home advantage, form and the subs swung it in favour of the Welsh outfit.

With Tranq's wingers drifting in Di's FB's had space to run up and attack but were instructed to stay back and defend, so unfortunately this outlet was never really exploited. I liked Tranq's detailing in Michu's role, i.e. drifting in late which, with his attacking FB's paid off

Subs wise, Villa didn't bring on a real match changer, perhaps an onus on attacking subs next time could bring about the desired change. Swansea on the other hand brought on Schweinsteiger when they were on top which consolidated their victory.

West Ham 1 - 1 Wigan
Sigorthsson; Ben Arfa

Close match between the two teams propping up the SG League, ultimately it wasn't one for the neutral though, with both sides tiring during the second half and the general play getting sloppy.

West Ham's controversial three CB system worked today because Wigan employed Berbatov out wide, and he rarely broke a sweat to trouble to opposition, perhaps would've been better suited in the middle with Pato on the wing. I liked West Ham's plan of having Sigorthssen drop deep, adding to their already packed midfield I could see them dominating against De Jong and Carrick (who I rate very highly btw )

Substitutions, or slightly tweaked tactics, could have swung this game either way*, but neither manager seemed willing to blink first which left the game stuck as a stalemate which won't suit either team.

Sorry about recent inactivity, will try and put something resembling tactics together up over the weekend

Norwich or qpr are definitely in it. whatever their next reason at least 1 or both qualify.
one of stoke/fulham wont make it but can still qualify through the play offs. even if you come 5th you still have a chance lol

Individual Quiz Week - This is where I will set you all 3 questions (someone does me). Whoever wins gets the entire 10m for themselves. If you get equal points with someone then the people will have to decide whether they want to share or have a bonus question. this bonus question will be for both and whoever answers first will get the prize money.

the week after will be doubles week. Doubles week will be where i draw you together. then 1 double will set 6 questions for the other pair. the double to win gets the 10m together shared. If equal points then there will most definitely be a bonus question. If 1 person is inactive then i will allow them to join another group (group of 3) bring 2 of their questions with them (my choice unless its my team).
