Thought he could have been alright. Not really given a chance.
Shame really. Injuries ruined it for him.
I wish him all the best
Aye, seemed like his face didn't fit when NW arrived, would have liked to see more of him. Good luck Robbie
Never given a chance. Shame really , Wish him all the best
Inevitable really.
Thought he might be decent, looked to be pacy, ran at defenders and had a bit of raw ability, but went off twice due to injury and then was always going to end up leaving.
And yet we hear that pace is the one thing missing from the entire squad. Not quite sure why Rogers wasn't given more of a chance.
'And yet we hear that pace is the one thing missing from the entire squad. Not quite sure why Rogers wasn't given more of a chance'
Could maybe have had another look at him before sending back out the revolving door
On the plus side there might be more cash for wages in the window. Though I'm not sure what kind of player we could get for the pocket money Rogers was probably on
But we are still robbing Peter to Pay Paul ....... DID I DREAM THIS TAKE OVER ????
Rogers, Grella, Da Costa, Griffiths, not good enough or would have made it somewhere.
No disrespect to Rogers but another complete waste of time and money by the club.
If you're going to bring players in, then give them a proper chance.
By bringing in players like Rogers, we end up paying money, getting nothing in return and denying a youth player a chance to gain experience and make the transition.
Sooner Bates and Williams are gone the better.
Agree Jonty
Best wishes to Rogers though, hope he gets a chance elsewhere.
btw.....was it Howson and Becks when interviewed a while back said Rogers was the most skillfull player at ER at that time.
Highland, was Killa dn Beckford talking about Grella. Without hesitation they said it was impossible to get ball off him in training.

Can't really say he was injury prone, a head clash doesn't come under that category
Nobody is more likely to clash heads with anybody!
Cheers Jonty, i knew Becks was one of em
Somebody has made some cash out of some of the tripe we have signed and I think the answer lies in monaco
