Aussies call him baywatch lol
Men and women have different strengths and weaknesses they therefore rely on one another to fulfill what the other one cant, so they can be treated with equal amounts of respect without necessarily doing the exact same jobs, ESP when it comes to sport
The man is able to do hard, physically challenging chores such as moving heavy loads, doing diy and not being scared of of sharma and dindas bouncers. Women playing in women's league is diffrent and fine.
But you guys aren't seriously suggesting there's going to be a que of women wanting to take on steryn, Finn, Morkel and the like??? Agreed there might be a few women good enough to play counties, but international??? No chance! It's abit like saying a woman should get in the boxing ring to box- ludicrous.
Tell you what women can do though, is take over from the ICC and improve cricket administrations and they'll do miles better than the current bunch.
So they should be treated with the equal amounts of respect, but people need to realise that men and women differ in terms of roles and responsibilities but are as equally important as each other
s, doing diy and not being scared of of sharma and dindas bouncers.

Other than that pretty thought provoking, reading this execrised my brain a bit,
It's true though. Rumour has it that sachin only retired because he saw dinda and sharma were named in squad and he couldn't bare to face the raw pace of each in the nets, so he quit.
If sachin can't face, neither can the women
Afridi, please do not provoke her, I have seen enough messages in black font today.

Great point, no matter how good a female boxer has ever been, how many people would've allowed a woman to get into the ring with Tyson at his peak?
Neon, I have no idea how inequality favours men, but here's a question. Do you feel women in tennis (who play their own tournaments, not against the men), draw less money from fans and sponsors and play less sets deserve equal pay, becuase that's what they get.
The only way to improve womens cricket is by increasing its funding and making it commerically viable. Most cricket boards are broke Paks, lanka, nz and west indies especially. The bcci have all the money, but in the mens world cup 2011 they spent £160m prior to tournement in advertising and build up, and then women was held in india a year later and they invested......£3million. Shambles?...... but thats what the cricket super-power thinks.
Let's face it; men's cricket and women's cricket were created unequal. It might be considered politically correct to pretend otherwise, but political correctness doesn't enter into it when one is looking at the balance sheet and the profit and loss accounts - as proven by the BCCI

Well this is a view of other cricketers...
If you're a fast bowler capable of bowling 90+, are you going to steam in and bowl 90+? I for sure wouldn't. You would bowl medium pace at a slow run up because it's a woman batting...that says it all really.

The fact that women play in the women's team is like a 16 y/o boy playing in the youth side and not the first team. It's to provide a level playing field.
However, if they have the ability to play with the senior players, they should be allowed to do so.
When I was playing, and we played a side in the league, and a 13 year old came in to bat at 3 or 4, there was no way I was going to drop my pace or not bowl it short. He's in the side as a batsman, so he should be capable of facing me. I wouldn't hold back for an adult in a competitive game, so why would I be any different for a child or a woman for that matter.
Re the boxing topic, if there was a woman who was at the right weight and ability, why not let he have a crack at Tyson? Would any of you step into the ring with Nicola Adams?
Bottom line is, currently the best players happen to be men, but if a woman is better than a man in their chosen role, they should play.

Decent debate.I would go alongwith a wwe wrestler quote and that is "To be a man, u have to beat the man".

You need to stop putting the pu$$y on a pedestal. I also think it's strange that all the detractors are of Pakistani descent.

If the England team can be stacked with Sth.African players it's about time they filled the ranks with females then....the best English 11 should be chosen regardless, even if it means 3-4 women being selected....
You can't tell the differance between aussie birds and blokes.. who knows maybe a few fems are already playing for the baggy green..

Did test match bowlers hold back on SRT when he made his debut aged 16?
No.
If you are good enough, you play, and you should expect no quarter to be given.
