From what I can gather it was only a bid.

There is also the possibility that the £30m "bid" was leaked on purpose when no such bid had been made in the first place.

May be the cynic in me but hard to believe that we would bid £30m for anyone.

I won't believe until it is on dot com.

But if we are gonna bid £30M, it better be for a striker! I'm sorry but Theo is not a striker and will never be!
He had a good game against Newcastle but since then, he has been almost invisible!

Twitter went nuts late last night. Several tweets were deleted by a number of tweeters associated with the club. Apparently Arsenal are paranoid at the best of times regarding their tranfer targets.

The word was a 30 million pound bid had been lodged, but that as all, no names mentioned, not that I saw anyway.

At the same time, Steve Rowley (chief scout) was at Old Trafford, chatting with Mourinho. I'd imagine he as running the rule over Diame, rather than Carlton Cole.

Sure the Twitters didnt mean 3.5 Million bid for Diame instead of 30Million for someone else.

I'm ITK, just take my word for it, my mate used to be a mechanic at the garage Julio Baptista took his car when he was in England.

I can confirm we have made a bid for a huge player, I can neither confirm nor deny that the player is Quincy Owusu-Abeyie

Now which footballer has a buy out clause of 30mil?

Mario Gortz.

Isn't it strange that people are tight lipped and deleting twits and all. No one wants to be blacklisted.

I think maybe we should hold our breadths.
