She was snoring & farting ...

At least I got home alright

While I was drunk, I 'accidentally' swallowed some scrabble letter tiles

My next sheet could spell D.I.S.A.S.T.E.R.

An Italian husband and wife were having dinner at a very fine restaurant when this absolutely stunning young woman comes over to their table
and gives the husband a big open-mouthed kiss, then says she'll see him later and walks away.

The wife glares at her husband and says, "Who was that?"

"Oh," replies the husband, "she's my mistress."
"Well, that's the last straw," says the wife. "I've had enough, I want a divorce!"

"I can understand that," replies her husband, "but remember, if we get a divorce it will mean no more shopping trips to Paris, no more wintering in Barbados , no more summers in Tuscany, no more Jaguar in the garage and no more yacht club. No more credit card and large bank accounts. But.... the decision is all yours."

Just then, a mutual friend enters the restaurant with a gorgeous babe on his arm.

"Who's that woman with Tony?" asks the wife.

"That's his mistress," says her husband.

"Ours is prettier," she replies.

SG has said that we are on the gradual road to recovery...that a steady improvement has brought us a win and a draw in our last 2 games...something to be positive about he says...slowly turning the corner he says...it will take time he says...

...but where lies the problem ?

Much debate and many opinions...but for me there is never an easy answer...because there is only ever one answer...hard graft !

The players we have are generally better than the performances produced...so we are not a BAD side, we are an average side that is consistently (of late) under-performing...week in, week out.

The buck of course stops with SG..he is the manager, he is responsible for on field activities..100%.

However, I still maintain Deano (and Grayson maybe) have tried to 'do'; this on the cheap. The squad was never big enough to cover for suspensions, injuries (of which we have had more than our fair share) and loss of form (Norwood being the obvious culprit)...

Neil Danns, played in his chosen midfield position might yet have a marked impact for us. Wells, if we get him...is a 100% risk for me...he looks a lightweight and if we insist on hoofball is unlikely to add anything to our forward line.

As for tomorrow, this could be another hammering...I look at how we have been well beaten at places like Middlebro', then see teams below us go and win there.

We make teams look good.

We have become a very very poor team of late, and are heading in only one direction, back to League One. I worry about the seemingly blase' way the club are dealing with this 'crisis'...we should be bringing in some quality players, proven at Championship level...yet the talk is about a loanee and a young lad from Bradford.

This is not enough...and if , and when, we drop into the bottom 3 in a few weeks time, then it will be too late to do anything about it. Now is the time to splash the cash. Now is NOT the time to be selling Jack Hunt.

Watford to win 4-2.

Well done darn

I'm going for them to have a man sent off, and town to win 1-4!

Now that's optimism at its best

Hydy, can you send me some of the stuff you're taking ?

I need a boost ....

posted on 18/1/13

.............. Hydy.

That's the spirit ............But can't decide if you're a
or a

Terrierific outlook all the same
LV & I discussed the 'result' last night,

Darn....3-1
LV .......3-0 he concluded, "I just can't see where we are going to get a goal from " ! He has a Point .

I have to say, I was disappointed when I read 38's thread yesterday suggesting NOVAK might be on his way.
I just don't get it.
minutes played, time on the pitch if you like, He's done as well as anyone ..& always give 100%.
I know a good few of you are of the opinion he's like a 'Headless Chuck', to that I would say, If those around him put the same effort in, We would regain possession far quicker & for longer.....at the advantageous end of the field.

SG 'obviously' wants men 'behind the ball'
Yeah, I'm frustrated.
To conclude, I consider NOVAK an asset .

Can we catch Watford on an 'off day' ?
Will the damp cold of Britain affect Zola's Italian legionaries ! There are no heavy pitches any more are there..not like of old anyway. There again, our lot would more than likely use that as an excuse..

Love Hydy's optimism ....
But I think we are going to have to perform way above what we have been doing......
Just to keep the defeat 'respectable' ...

I have never wanted to be so wrong.
Come on SG.
We want a strong attacking formation.
lets 'aim' for 3 points.

Fat bird Darn !!! Your missus is certainly the better half,,, Infact it was mentioned when her and her buddy came into the Lamb "couple of fine fillys here, They must be lost",,,, Once i knew they were with you i had to withhold the flannel i would have normally come out with,,,,,, Will have to arrange to be in Perth when your lasses mate is over on her own too !!,,,,, No idea whatsoever about the game,, I can foresee only a long dour journey home for the Terrier die hards who have nothing better to do tommorow, other than waste their time and money watching the current mob we have in blue and white,,,,,, Four one to the Hornets for me,,, Panic stations next week,,, Let loose the life boats....Shouldnt we be better off keeping Novak a little longer ?? Just in case,,,, As he would be just the type of player we would be after signing if the unmentionable happens at the end of the season ??

weather permitting(ie; its called off) town should get a "result" this weekend..
I drove up from colchester this morning..snow flurries, a wee bit of settling here and there but nothing "The Day After Tommorow" as predicted..
The Welsh are getting a sh-tload but who cares??? (biggrin)
Even the weather might not save us.....

Prediction for the game if it goes ahead, is based on how long it takes watford to score..if they get one early doors we may be looking at another leicester city...
Grayson wont change how we "approach" the game so its all down to how watford do and how well "they play", which is the most dissapointing thing about our "Happy To Be Here" season...

Having read Grayson pre match build up I'm not confident.

We talk the talk but that's where it ends

What's he said Wakey ?

SG: "I think confidence building is a gradual process and the win at Charlton and the Birmingham draw show we are progressing" #htafc
SG: "we're going to Watford to win though. If we can replicate the performance at Charlton we'll stand a good chance" #htafc
SG: "Our approach is always to try and win any game. Players in our team who can cause problems, like Beckford, Vaughan and Scannell" #htafc
SG: "We did a lot of business in the summer, bringing a few in. We've added a few loans since and I don't think we need a major shake-up"
SG: "It's been difficult all week - we got on the grass on Monday but we've been inside ever since. It's the same for everyone though"
