This would be the best heavyweight fight for a while.
Really hope this happens, I'd have my money on Haye aswell.
This fight had already been made, then Haye pulled out to fight the far inferior Valuev.
Haye then got pasted by Wlad, and it was a pasting, he lost every round and couldn't get close.
Vitali then looks past it and suddenly Haye wanted the fight.
Even if he beats him he is fighting him when he is well past his best.
God to think this man actually claimed to be the saviour of the heavyweight division...still i suppose he beat Harrison and Chisora was no easy feat and proves he will go down as one of the greatest heavyweights ever...
Tbh Harrison and Chisora are no different to all the bums the Klitschkos have beat, only great heavyweight they've fought between them was when Vitali beat Lewis and Lewis nearly ended Vitalis career
Wlad pasted Haye???
What fight were you watching.
Vitali has been ducking Haye for over a year now, lets hope he is not going to come up with a new excuse.
The fight where he won every round and Haye couldn't even get close to him.
117–109, 118–108, 116–110 - Yeah that fight was a close one wasn't it...
and again, remind me who pulled out of their fight in 2009?
The only reason he now wants this fight is because Vitali is now past it. Its an embarrassment to even try and claim Vitali ducked Haye when Haye pulled out of a fight to fight Valuev.

Home town judges, Haye won 4 rounds landed more power punches and Wlad got away with his cheating holding tactics.
Vitali gets Koed in 8 if he fighs Haye.

Wonder what excuse Vitali will come out with now?

Can't use the election excuse anymore or he has to fight Chisora, lets hope Vitali doesn't fight another can and bring more shame to the heavyweight title.
Sore toe?
Maybe he will turn down the contract at the last second not fight and go fight someone inferior like haye did in 09.
Maybe he will retire from boxing, return, fight a couple of domestic bums and then go on a tv show.
I mean whatever excuse he comes up with I suppose he is just following un Hayes shadow
Haye says all Vitali has to do is say Yes and it's a done a deal, everything else is agreed and sorted
Had Haye fought Vitali in 2009, and lost, which lets face it was probable, he would have become a nobody in the Heavyweight division, with his status being 0, and he would have had to work his way back up to a title challenge.
So, he took an easier world title fight, and won. He is now in a position to walk into a world title fight, as he is a former champion, and about the only exciting heavyweight around. It's called good marketing and business sense mate, in my eyes at least.
Wlad did beat Haye convincingly, but it wasn't a pasting at all. Haye landed some good shots, Wlad spoiled the spectacle with his holding tactics.
Vitali will be blasted out within 6 rounds, unless he uses similar tactics.

At least Vitali will try and fight Haye, instead of Wlad's jab jab grab tactic for 12 rounds.
Has to fight in Germany so he can get away with.

To everyone showing disrespect to Haye, who would you rather see Vitali fight?
Another nobody that nobody cares about?
This is the biggest fight that can be made in the division, with a British fighter going for the title.
Where's the problem?

TBOK, we will see, I think it would end in KO.
Peter, who would you rather see Vitali fight? Haye was a devastating cruiser, former Heavyweight champ who will hype the fight up alot.
The heavyweight division needs a high profile showdown, it's dead at the moment.
Who should Vitali fight then?

TBOK
It would be a KO either way for me, both are capable.
I think Haye would be more aggresive and go for the KO.
