Lennon - Parker - Dembele - Bale
Holtby
Defoe
Yes kent could see that, would be able to interchange with lennon and bale as well, just could never play in a 2, especially in the pl
I would play 4-3-3,
Dembele-Sandro-Holtby
Willian/Lennon-Damiao-Bale
Could easily have you challenging for top 3. With squad depth.

Why bring Walcott and Arsenal into this conversation?
Don't be silly Kent, Bale won't be there next season
I would play 4-3-3,
Dembele-Sandro-Holtby
Willian/Lennon-Damiao-Bale
These kind of Fifa teams make me laugh, it's unlikely we'll sign Willian and Damaio and why would we take Lennon (who is an experienced prem winger) out of our team, especially when he's in form at the moment.
Is Holtby coming to Spurs in Jan?
I am sure I read that one of his coaches said that he doesnt think Holtby can handle the physicality of PL

People exaggerate how physical the prem is, it's only Stoke who play really dirty, the refs blow up a lot of the time.
holtby will settle fine, hes a good player, will take time but physically hes a bit lightweight, but dont think that will be a problem playing just off the forward or wide.
50P-61 never again!

You would know all about that, you support the current 3rd best team in London. Any team with Ox, Wilshiiiite and Walnut in their team should not be talking about overrating players.
NacDan...they said the same about Modric and he handled the Prem just fine. Besides, it's not like they're a bunch of fairies in Germany.
OP - got to disagree mate. Sure I don't think he'll play the Sandro role, but he wont be behind the striker either.
He'll play next to a more physical player (Sandro, Parker, or possibly Dembele) in the 2. He works hard, trained well - as you'd expect from someone who has come through the German system.
But he offers another option. We've seen it too many times this season, especially at home, where teams are happy to sit and park up. Sandro and Dembele's strengths are nullified. Heavy pressing, counter-attacking and pace are nullified.
Holtby will play the conductor role. Think modric. Or what we expected from Moutinho. But for free, and admittedly less influential (for now!). Personally I think he'll develop into a brilliant player. All the attributes are there.
Someone posted a video of his "skills" for 2012 earlier. Some nice stuff, but also a bit underwhelming. But think back to Luka - not many highlights, but extremely influential on the way we played, the man who set the tempo and the conductor of nearly everything.
Holtby will play here for when counter-attacking football is not working and will offer us a plan B.
I'd say Oscar is too lightweight for the Prem too. Hasn't really done him any harm has it.
he wont play in a 2 mate, no chance, if we played him and dembele we would be wide open, he will play wide or in a middle 3 or just behind the striker, i will be staggered if he plays in a 2 for us
I read a couple of Schalke's fans reviews on him. He plays DM mostly as a deep laying play maker. It's only recently he's been moved forward behind the striker.
Comparing him to Nani and Young isn't right... They're wingers by trade, Holtby is not.
He can play in the 2 as part of a 4231, but as Sandro said, not with Dembélé. With Parker/THudd/Sandro, yes. We could then push Dembélé up behind Defoe.
Gives us a lot more options
Holtby to play the physio role.
he never played as a dm, i really suggest you watch him play, then decide what positions he will play, i compared him to nasri, not nani. Young is a winger but alot of best performances for england have come behind the front man, watch holtby play, and i dont mean on youtube, you will be surprised
why are players considered lightweight, jesus the epl now is made for them one slight tap go down free kick.
I'm just saying what I read. The Schalke fans said he played in the DM role. Picked the ball up from deep and got the ball moving forward. Dare I say.... A bit like Modric. He's clearly not built for your typical DM, but he's hardly lightweight either.
Sandro, where r u getting ur info mate? Hes a center mid who plays deep. Thats where he played for schalke, what makes u tjink hes suddenly goona be a winger?
ok south london, watch him play mate, you will be surprised, he will play just of the striker or as 1 of a front 3, a bit like dempsey can, hes not a winger, never called him that, he will join the play from out wide, like a dempsey does. My brother is in the army and is based in germany, his nearest club is schalke, i have seen holtby play live maybe 6 or 7times.
