Our 1-0 win against Swansea reserves in which Giroud was awful? No it doesn't give me confidence at all.
-------------------
It was their first team apart from Michu. Plus Giroud worked their centre backs and got an assist - much more than our £100k p/w winger did.
his technique is actually quite good for a tall player.. watch him closely... his link up play is good enough for Arsenal. Certainly better than Rambos
I don't think we are ever going to lose 8-2 again But a heavy defeat is still possible.
Ramsey would probably be a better striker than Giroud
Oh God I don't rate Theo much either but I really hope fans don't turn on him from now on and keep mentioning the 100k a week. FFS NO ONE deserves a 100k a week but for once we kept a player who looked like he was on his way out so just be happy no matter how much he gets!
Just want the team news now

I'm happy we kept Theo, he's a very productive player who can destroy teams on his day. However, I was just highlighting how Giroud is nowhere near as bad as two of our fans seem to be making out.
I really want Ramsey to start this.
Giroud was horrendous vs Swansea and his "assist" was a result of him failing to control the ball.
At least Walcott even when he is not playing well offers pace which scares opposition defenders. Giroud offers nothing.
Giroud is not bad but he's not great. Wenger knows this too, that's why he's interested in a striker despite buying two last summer.
I think Messi, at a push, deserves £100,000 a week.
Does everyone agree Jack is a good player? Just checking.
Remember Kevin Mirallas said he rejected Arsenal to join Everton? It shows that, even after Giroud, Wenger was looking for a striker.
Wilshere is a typical overrated english bag.
Just joking, Jack
just because Theo signed doesn't mean we have to pretend he's good at football
My house is gonna be under snow soon
Those who think Wenger rates Giroud very highly are blind imo. It's clear Wenger is not satisfied with him, just analyze his comments and you'll see what I mean.
8bit would you rather Theo had left?
Just noticed Viva Vela was banned, is he anyone on here
