Much better quality since Benitez took over. It seemed like the team just went out and played before under RDM but now have direction and discipline.

I personally love the football at times.

I don't enjoy counter attack football particularly, as it requires too much sitting back.

However when we have Hazard, Mata and Oscar knocking the ball around, its just tremendous to watch

It was better under RDM

Football under RDM had no real structure.

The three at the front were all playing the free role. It was good to watch when all three were on tune. However, there were games like Juve away were it was awful.

Rafa would have lost to Juve away as well, don't blame RDM for dropping Torres that game as he was in terrible form, and Sturridge was injured so Hazard was the best option.

For the first time since RDM, our stylish attacking automobile Maza-car was doing 90 in the 55

JM you think starting Torres would have made a difference?

RDM was really unfortunate in that the teams we played in our CL group were teams who had been playing together in a particular style for years, whilst we were still a team of individuals in the process of being moulded into a team and attempting to pay a style forced by the owner.

And playing Torres away to Juve would have made zero difference whatsoever. Playing Torres against most top sides makes zero difference whatsoever.

Hazard did a good job against Juve, held the ball up. Torres would have done nothing if he had started that game

Much better recently, i just feel we need a little bit more confidence in passing from some players, press a bit more with the forward players not just the striker, changes made earlier to stop the second half rot and also to keep working on the offside trap especially Cahill who was at fault for Walcott goal and early Giroud chance

and then i'll be happy
