I like Bisping, but he's destined to always be a 'nearly man'. He hasn't got what it takes to trouble the top fighters in the division.
He worked hard against Bigfoot, and worked well off the jab, but you could see that Belfort had the power to take him out at pretty much any time.
Agree with you Philspurs, I like Bisping - he's a well-rounded fighter but doesn't have the power to trouble the top fighters in the division.
What he does have is the heart and desire and always pushes the pace in a fight which is more than most.
Belfort though looked relaxed, sharp and took him out with ease, and that has surely ended Bisping's title challenge for now.
bisping shouldn't have been anywhere near a belt fight. Dana protected him bigtime. He's midcard at best
Quite possibly so (protected by DW), mostly due to him being the highest profile British fighter.
But I'm in no doubt that he deserved a shot at the title as much as any MW. Apart from the champ, there are no fighters standing out who deserve it any more right now.
Belcher lost his last fight, so did Munoz (I think - could be wrong), Okami - please don't even bother giving him another go after his first attempt, Weidman (possibly next in line), Stann (beaten by Bisping) and so on.
I dont even understand why people hate on Bisping. He seems a genuine guy. Will never be champ though.
