his hair has a bad reputation now.
Arshavin's story is a strange one. He had a severe drop in form about 18 months ago and was then unceremoniously frozen out of the first team, however we haven't sold him and he still pops up from time to time,
I'm guessing his attitude is dire, hence his 'figure' now
What where u expecting from someone who has played probably 15 Mins in the last 2 months?
We should cut our loses and rip up his contract. Get rid and free up a squad place.

Joke aside, one of McDo employee posted a picture of Arshavin saying that he was a "regular" customer and that he even use coupons!
90k/week and using coupon at McDo
Didn't think he was overweight, he looked slimmer than when he first arrived actually.
But simply put, he doesn't play, no point pretending anymore that is he magically going to rediscover all his old form.
I blame Wenger.

couldn't believe my poor eyes when I saw he was coming on
So sad considering the talent he has/still might have, but no, at this point in time it's pointless pinning any hopes that Arshavin will be some sort of LANS saviour.
In fact with him sat alongside Frimpong, I'd say the bench yesterday was pretty embarrassing for a club of our supposed sature.

Chris,
Why would you blame Wenger?
Imagine if he had played in his real position the whole time, he would be a monster
Weird thing is, Wenger has said more than once, despite Arshavin being on the fringes, his attitude as a professional is as good as it gets and impossible to fault! Just looking at him yesterday was painful, aside from looking like the least bothered man on planet Earth, he really did look very much out of shape and for a professional athlete, at ANY level (let alone one who's getting paid an absolute fortune), that's unnaceptable and an absolute p!ss-take to the club and fans who ultimately pay his wages.
As for 'ripping up his contract'? He's on very big money and essentially to terminate it, the club would have to buy him out of his deal. I'm not sure when his contract runs to (anyone?), but to buy him out I'd imagine you'd be looking at a few million quid. A club like Chelsea/Citteh (who are in the business of throwing money on the log fire) would just do it, but Arsenal won't.
Not be injured or ill, Pete.
Apparently he was rubbish on loan at Charlton.
Another Arsenal youngster with no future at Arsenal.
I blame Wenger to an extent I should say. He was doing pretty well when he first came, despite being played out of position on the left wing. He had a run of no more than 6-7 games where we was quite poor, and rightfully got dropped.
However what grated me was he just never got a look in after that, no idea why.
Moist,
His contracts up at the end of the season.

Is that for sure? Then I'd imagine he'll run it down and the club obviously won't renew it. One thing's for sure, he'll be looking at a fraction of what he's on now at another club.
I can understand Arshavin not being bothered about playing for or what happens to Arsenal anymore - especially considering the way he's been treated for the last 18 months or so - but surely the fact we were playing Chelsea would make him want to put in at least a semi-decent performance, albeit as a cameo?
I mean, it's one of the highest profile fixtures of the Premiership season... where's the guy's professional pride?
Squillaci is another one who'd rather sit around, making do with just a couple of run outs with the U21s this season, than actually trying to achieve something during the increasingly limited time he has left as a professional footballer.
Making dresses is more important, which is fair enough
